Remember, the Warriors have been to the playoffs exactly once since 1994-1995, so sure it could fall apart.

Just a year ago, the "core" was Monta Ellis and Curry in the backcourt with Andris Biedrins starting at C (could be the worst shooting PLAYER in the NBA right now; someone who should have been amnestied but was not). Dorell Wright, great guy but someone who has the least athletic dribble moves at SF, was the starting SF.

So falling apart does not worry me in the least.

Carmelo might score 60 tonight -- already 15 with 3 minutes to go in the 1st.

Knicks are killing the Lakers even though Kobe is on fire too.

Howard on the bench with 2 fouls.

Ricky Rubio came back to the Timberwolves tonight. 9 assists in 18 minutes. All is right in the NBA world.

Kyrie Irving scored 41 points in MSG in a loss. So much point guard talent in the league right now. He's incredible.

Draymond Green is like another kid that I covered in Michigan HS games - Shane Battier. Incredibly high basketball IQ, works hard and does all the little things. You don't want him to be one of your stars, but he's great to have in your rotation.

Too bad the Spurs aren't on national TV more often. They are rock solid, top to bottom, and fun to watch.

And I'm loving Splitter the more I get to see him.

How are the New York writers handling it that overrated hype guy Jeremy Lin came in and drummed their Knicks? They must be devastated.

Are the Spurs personnel people that much smarter than everyone? Damn, the bigs that they find in the late 1st/2nd rds just keep coming, Splitter, Blair, Scola, ....

I really like Splitter, he's a strong rebounder with some offensive moves.

Good game between Lakers and Knicks. Knicks 79-78 after 3.

Awful uniforms: Knicks all orange, including numbers, Lakers all white.

    The Knicks look like Syracuse.

Some actual signs of life from the Lakers. The return of Nash certainly seems to have helped.

Gasol's clinching dunk was a moment of moments in his career. Was pleasantly surprised.

both looked like middle school teams from poor schools that couldn't afford real uniforms.

So do the Heat and OKC
