The Warriors shot 57% in the first half and they're losing 77-62 against the Rockets thanks to Houston shooting an absurd 14-18 from three. Also, if Steph Curry didn't hit a half-court shot at the buzzer, Golden State would be losing by 18.

Kobe just dunked on the whole Nets team. That was pretty nasty.

Shame that the W's lost tonight. They were looking really good with Bogut in the lineup; he adds so much, nice passing, self-less picks, defensive presence, not only in blocks, but in smart rotations.

That's okay, the W's have a tough trip (SA next I think) but I'll be watching the Rockets courtside in Oakland next week!

This is a tough little stretch before the break for the W's: at OKC tonight, at Memphis Friday, at Dallas Saturday and at home vs. Houston again Sunday.

Caught the tail-end of the game on the tube at the office: Rockets tied NBA record with 23 3s. Warriors kept putting Houston on the line in the final 90 seconds, just to avoid a 24th.

You should have seen him when he was coaching.

So I'm reading the Woj piece about the Kobe dunk last night and I notice that the dateline is "NEW YORK --".

Is that the typical dateline for Nets games now? The address for the Barclays Center on its web site says Brooklyn, NY.

Not a huge deal, obviously, just something that caught my attention.

There's no one in the Indianapolis area or who is a Pacers fan who DOESN'T believe Marita is responsible.

Kobe's contract expires after next season.

He's done his thing in L.A. His legs can't have too many more miles.

But I'd be intrigued to see him go "home" and play one final season in Philly.

    Zero chance.

Aren't Philly fans known for booing Kobe mercilessly? He's not exactly the quintessential hometown boy, considering he spent most of his pre-high school youth living in Europe, where his dad was playing. Don't think there's a ton of warm and fuzzies between Philly and Kobe (or Philly and Santa Claus, for that matter).

AP Style is New York, not an individual borough or neighborhood.

However, for Post Office purposes, New York is Manhattan, Bronx is Bronx, Staten Island is Staten Island, Brooklyn is Brooklyn, and your address in Queens is based on your neighborhood (Astoria, N.Y.).

Kobe is a mega fucking asshole anywhere, and the people who know him best know this the most. That tends to spoil the hometown mood.
