Even if Boston doesn't close it out against Denver, they continue to look impressive without Rondo. The Nuggets have been rolling through teams the past couple weeks.

I immediately thought of Curry and E-Rob. ::)

Fizer claims his status as an El Busto had to do with his "immoral life" (he's a born-again Christian now), so, yeah, he belongs on this list.

Denver-Boston going to a 3rd OT thanks to a Pierce three-pointer with 5 seconds left in the 2nd.

Great finish by the Celtics. Pierce was phenomenal.

I always remember that as the Marcus Fizer-Stromile Swift draft.

But it's even worse than that.

A whole draft with one All-NBA (Third) Team to its name. That's beyond pathetic.

    Celtics with Rondo: 20-23
    Celtics without Rondo: 7-0

    How does this make sense?

More pathetic is that Mark Madsen was taken 29th, and if you re-did the draft today based on what has transpired since he'd actually go higher.

The last 15 or so Celtics games with Rondo featured a six-game winning streak and seven-game losing streak, so perhaps with or without him, they're streaky. Also five of last seven at home.

Don't know but they're playing strong basketball. They move the ball really well, defend the ball better (Bradley is a little pest) and even the dinosaurs are playing with renewed vigor.

Terry, Barbosa, Bradley and Lee make a great backcourt rotation. I'm really digging Barbosa lately.
