Whichever two teams end up in the 4th and 5th playoff spots in the Western Conference is going to make for a really good first round series. This Denver-Memphis game has been fun to watch despite being low scoring. These two teams are getting after each other. Looks like the Nuggets are going to make it 12 straight wins.

Miami gets number 22. If they can get past Boston tomorrow, they have a pretty easy run over the next two weeks to get to 29 entering into an Easter Sunday matchup at San Antonio.

  3. So how many times will Derek Fisher lie about his family situation to get released? Not the first time he's pulled that routine.

Miami a 5-point favorite in Boston tonight. Celtics play well at home.

OK, this is damn cool. The NBA is selling shirts with players and/or teams in 8-bit illustration. Your classic Sixers:

C's 31-19 after one. Green in tearing it up.

Green has found his bearings the last 25 games. The trade is starting to even out.

Green has 22 with 9 minutes to play in the half. C's up 17.

Seeing your posts made me check out ESPN.com.... guess Miami won. Wish I had watched that game.

Two fun finishes around the same time in Boston and Chicago. Unfortunately, long replays broke up the rhythm of both. Thibodeau looked about ready to murder the ref for an offensive goaltending call on Noah that would have given the Bulls the lead with 2 seconds left in OT.

Also, Jason Terry now feels Brandon Knight's pain:

The length of the 2 reviews in the Celtics game were awful, especially the last one. Completely shattered the rhythm to the end of that game. It was a great game, playoff-like.

I've grown to like this Boston team.

And it's kind of scary how good Miami is. It's not just the talent level. It's how cool they are.

They were down 17 and you would have thought they were up 7. LeBron has come a long way. There is a peacefulness about him now, much in the way Battier is cool, calm, collected, businesslike -- that technical for hovering over Terry after the dunk notwithstanding.

I've watched quite a few 4th quarters of Miami's during this streak. Even in games that ended up being blowouts, they often let the other team hang around until the end of the 3rd/beginning of the 4th. You can tell, though, when LeBron goes from managing the game to taking over the game, and that usually sends them on a big run that puts the game out of reach, or puts them back into the lead when they're losing.
