If I were a betting man, I'd bet King James gets a little D-Wade love from the officials, maybe something like playing the last eight minutes of game three with five fouls, and I think the series will go six or seven games, but I can't see the Spurs losing it.

Too much Duncan, Parker, and Ginobli. Of course I can't watch, because watching Eric Snow miss fifteen-foot jumpers all night makes me physically ill.

Then you haven't been watching much of the Cavs this season or during the playoffs. Eric Snow isn't shooting 15-foot jumpers all night and when he does see the floor, it's mainly for defensive reasons.

By the way, Daniel Gibson is taking jumpers from 22-9 and making them on a consistent basis. Those are fun to watch, eh Deeee-troit?

    :)

Love the loyalty, Dawg. You're right, I haven't been watching the Cavs (aside from the LeBron highlights). I did see Snow miss a couple free throws (fifteen feet, right?), and I assume the reason he's not shooting the jumpers is related to the fact that he can't shoot. I guess we'll see. I'm still taking the Spurs, though.

    Me, too.

Yet I can't help but wonder if the NBA conspiracies will come to a head if the Cavs upset in Game One in order to grab TV viewers. I mean, if the Spurs beat the Bron Brons by 30 in Game 1, that sound you hear will be ratings plummeting for the rest of the series.

Stern: "C'mon Pop, we'll just take away the first one, for the ratings, a bigger payday for all of us. Straight up, you know y'all will slam them the other four games."

And I'm still boycotting. (I'm not the only one. You should have seen the remaining NBA fan in our office last week trying to find someone, anyone, else who'd watched the Cavs' win so he could have someone he could talk to about it.)

I'm pulling for the Cavs just so Skip Bayless will shut up and stop calling Lebron "Prince James."

For those of us in Northeast Ohio, this is pretty much all gravy. We're playing with house money.

This will mark the first time I've actually watched Finals games since... since.... since............
