Most of the time. I think he could guard Ray Allen. Now a Courtney Lee/Delonte West/Joe Johnson that will drive to either side and pumpfake you all day, no, he'd be in trouble.

  2. well, if he's not a part of that sign and trade, he's gonna have to play the two or somebody's gonna have to come off the bench.

I think they'll play him at the 2 cuz he's a volatile guy and Barea and Terry won't care about coming off the bench. But he may struggle and they might have to make that choice or go small in crunch time because they'll only have one overwhelming 3-point threat out of the five starters.

I agree Spurs are pretty stout.

Bowen ain't coming back, though. It doesn't really matter. He hardly played last year.

Cavs about to sign Anthony Parker.

Fills a need, not a sexy signing by any means. Good shooter that is long and can defend the wing.

I actually like that move. Marion would have been an ideal fit, but Parker works as well, especially because of his shooting ability.

I still have the Lakers as my team to beat out West - Artest, I feel, will produce better than Ariza - but the Spurs are a close, close 2nd. I really like what they've done. They've added size and depth to the frontcourt and added a slashing/efficient shooting wing who can D up.

What if the Lakers also lose Odom?

Overpaid... gotta hope for a sign-and-trade scenario, but that's a hefty paycheck for 8 ppg.

I have mixed feelings. However, he's been a key part of that team the last few years.
