They offered him that much because that's all they had left of the midlevel exception, I believe. Because they didn't offer him $10 million they didn't want him on the team? He's probably not going to play 30+ MPG for the Suns either.

There's a pretty good chance that he will. He's averaged about 30 mpg each of the last 2 seasons for the Suns. Playing time is particularly important to him because he missed so much time due to injury early in his career. He's had enough sitting.

So now the Clippers are apparently targeting Iverson. Does not make sense at all, and if anything, stunts Eric Gordon's growth. I can't believe this is even an option, but, then again, they're the Clippers.

Rich DeVos lubes up his rod and slips it to a much-too-pliant Cubes.

I didnt realize Gortat had such average numbers. 3.8 and 4.5? And people here thought 7 mil was too much for Varejao who averages 8 and 7.

Also, if the Clips get Iverson, I'm expecting them to make the playoffs if they stay healthy. Between B-Diddy, AI, Kaman, Camby, Al Thornton, Q-Rich, Eric Gordon and Blake Griffin, that's a decent mix of youth and experience. Not expecting them to get homecourt or anything, but that could be a decent team this year if noone has a meltdown.

I think the west is far to tough for them to even get a sniff opf the playoffs. Q-Rich is going to help this team make the playoffs? Iverson and Baron Davis on the same team? Yeah I can see that working really well

Yeah, no. It is bound for a meltdown if Iverson is on board. The Clippers would be a better team without Iverson.

The Clippers will be terrrible with or without Iverson.

Yeah, but Griffin, Thornton, Gordon, Kaman and B-Diddy is a nice nucleus. If B-Diddy decides to actually give a crap, they'd be dangerous. But adding Iverson is the last thing they need.

God I hate the B-Diddy references, carry on.

    Who the hell is B-Diddy?

    (Mentally goes over Clippers' roster)

    Oh.

Anyway, Lakers' supposed "dynasty" might end before it begins, thanks to agents.
