Sheed's playoff averages from this past spring:

    6.5 pts
    6.3 reb
    0.8 assists
    0.5 steals
    36.7 FG pct

Yup, go right ahead and light up cigar No. 18, boys.

"Blah blah blah, something about being motivated."

Apparently the Cavs have offered Hakim Warrick the BAE. LeBron better be working on his mid-range game this offseason because he's now got a lot of bigs that can't spread the floor, and Warrick would just add to that.

Windhorst is reporting Warrick is going to the Bucks on a one-year deal.

Enjoy winning 25 games this year, Hakim. You can start making tee times for mid-April right now.

If you really think Sheed gave a crap during these playoffs, well, then, I don't know what to tell you. It was clear the whole Pistons team was just going through the motions during the postseason. No one gave a damn.

The bottom line is he'll be motivated to play for the Celtics. He'll HAVE to fall in line with the Garnett-Allen-Pierce trio, and I think he more than will.

Wallace was also injured the last couple months of the season.

  6. Yea tino,

not to pile on, but if you don't think sheed's perfect for that team, you're kidding yourself. He's as unselfish as they come on the court, he rebounds, his length gives everyone problems, he's still athletic, and he spaces the floor for rondo and garnett with his shooting. He's a much better player than perkins. as long as he keeps his temper in check, he's absolutely perfect.

There's only one player that I've ever seen give Garnett AND Duncan major problems on both ends of the court: His name is rasheed wallace

So let me get this straight, you're excited about adding a guy who has 1,009 games on his odometer, broke down with injuries in the second half of last season, and couldn't even be bothered to play hard down the stretch of his last significant contract year because his team was mediocre?

Shit, let's just hand over the trophy now and forget about even playing the season.

"Blah, blah, blah ... something about KG being upright will make a pretty damn big difference, too."

And, by the way, didn't Perkins like lead the
Excited is probably too strong a word, but yeah, Rasheed is a fairly significant upgrade over what they had. No question.

The Knicks claimed White Chocolate, a.k.a Jason Williams, off waivers.

Williams in D'Antoni's system? Very intriguing.

I'm not intrigued by anyone in his system. That's just my personal taste. There's not many players on the Knicks that would intrigue me in any system, though.

I'm intrigued to see what kind of numbers LeBron would will put up under D'Antoni. ;)
