Canada got next! But they have to agree to take Vince Carter off our hands.

Vince Carter can eat a bag of Moose Dicks.

Enjoying the debate on this thread btw, would put cash on the 92 team. I think those guys were probably tougher as well given that NBA defenses were a lot more physical back then. I know they play FIBA rules but overall toughness goes to the original dream team.

    Jordan would dominate Kobe.

It's comical to think that Deron Williams or Chris Paul would make the '92 team when Zeke, who was better than both players, wasn't on the team.

Give the Dream Team a year to take the drugs the current players are taking and see how this sorts out.

Also, how can Paul and Westbrook guard Magic when he is backing them down on the low block?

And the second Chandler comes out of the game I sub in Robinson and Ewing and move Barkley to the three go to a zone.

What Ewing and Robinson would do is contest drives to the basket and pretty much gobble up every defensive rebound with Chuckles.

Is Jordan sending the ref his leftovers in the hotel before the games? That'd change my opinion on how long the series would go.

I would be fine with putting Paul on Dream Team. He's much better now than Isiah was in 1992. Isiah didn't make any all-NBA team - 1st, second, third - after 1987.

Speaking of one-on-one. Uncle Drew challenges Kobe at a Team USA practice.

Of the current players, James and Durant would be in the top 10 rotation without question.

If I was making the team...

    First five...

Magic next sub would be Paul
Jordan next sub would be Kobe
James or Durant with the other being first off the bench
    Barkley next sub Malone
    Ewing next sub Robinson

Rounding out the 12 man roster would be subs who would be thrown in as situational players...

Westbrook if I think the team needs a spark or the other team just cannot handle his speed.
Kevin Love to backup the center and PF positions.

It would be tough to leave Pippen and Mullin off the teams because having that defender and a shooter that never slumped would be tough to pass up.

No one in the NBA can handle Westbrook's speed, I doubt any international team could.

This. Some people here have a distorted memory of where these guys were in 92. Isiah in 92 was in decline, by that point he was well behind Stockton then, and Paul today. And Bird was a broken down minutes-before-retirement shell of his former self in the summer of 92, I'm amazed at the people suggesting players like Pippen, Drexler and Mullin should be cut first.

And, yeah, Kyrie Irving has the skills, personality and marketing savvy to become a big time superstar in this game---you know, once he escapes Cleveland.

Love that clip of Kobe and Kyrie.
