Yea, what an insider it must have took to get that information.

Forbes and AP had short blurb/stories on their sites saying Nowitzki will "keep his options open this summer" regarding returning to the Mavs. For anyone to watch last nite's game and still call him "soft" is just plain stupid. The guy can shoot, and if Dampier could offer some offense inside that team might be much different. I think Damp's days are numbered there just because you have to be able to offer something offensively in that league.
Terry didn't shoot well last nite and the Mavs didn't get nearly as much from JKidd as the Spurs did from Tony/Manu.

Dirk recovered at half time, but when the going got tough in the first half he completely lost it and got into really bad foul trouble and started yelling at teammates, refs and anyone who would listen. I'm just not convinced that he's got the stones to lead a team to a title.

"Shit the bed" doesn't begin to describe the Milwaukee Bucks' third quarter. Up four at halftime, the Bucks are now down 15 going into the final quarter.

They didn't shit the bed. They took a king-sized mattress, found a house-sized pile of shit and shoved the mattress into it until the mattress slipped into the vasts of feces.

Holy living fuck. They're playing like Trevor Hoffman closes.

Things are getting interesting with Jerry Stackhouse leading the charge.

    Watching the Nuggets-Jazz foul-a-thon.

Crying, whining after every damn call.

Also, someone needs to serve Doris Burke a nice steaming mug of STFU. Dan Shulman is very good, but as many times as she has stepped on him in this contest, he's gonna have heal marks everywhere.

James Harden just ate Shannon Brown's lunch. Wow.

Unabashed fandorkspeak: The fact that the Atlanta Hawks or Milwaukee Bucks will play in a conference semifinal while (my favorite Western Conference team) is done is disgusting.

So if the Lakers lose in Oklahoma City again, do I get to bitch about free-throw discrepancies and all that conspiracy bunk?

Never mind. This fandork is glad the Lakers proved him wrong.

I hope James Harden and Jeff Green enjoyed their pretty dunks.

Bingo. The high-arcing, acrobatic 15-foot fadeaways look nice on the highlight reel, but they've yet to earn him jack. And this was in a game where he committed so many stupid fouls and never put pressure on the defense late in the fourth. Dirk is a "style" player, little substance. And there's nothing wrong with that, but he's just not a franchise guy.

Give me a break. The Dirk hate has gone way overboard.

Look, I *love* seeing the pouty look on Cuban's face at the end of every season. Dirk and the Mavs have burned my team many a time. The Dallas Mavs are probably my least favorite team in the league (It's close between them, San Antonio, and Utah), but to say Dirk isn't a franchise player is ridiculous.

I guess over the past 25 years, the only "franchise guys" are Pierce, Garnett, Kobe, O'Neal, Jordan, Olajuwon, Thomas, Magic, and Bird?

Fine, say he's soft, say he's a choker, whatever...but to say he's not a franchise guy is just ridiculous. To say he has no substance when he's taken teams to the finals and lifted the Mavs out of the perpetual cellar is going way overboard.
