Johnson can help the Knicks to the coveted No. 8 seed.

One of the better games in the playoffs in Utah. Korver pulls a Scott Wedman, circa Memorial Day Massacre, Artest actually makes threes, Kobe and Williams big games. Tons of lead changes down the stretch. Then, with Lakers up 3, Lakers foul intentionally with six seconds left. Phil never fouls in that situation but does here. Almost backfires as Artest throws it away on ensuing inbound, giving Utah the ball with four seconds, down one. Williams misses jumper, Matthews tip-in does everything but go down. Now three series are 3-0.

Artest threw it too wide, but I thought there was a foul there. I'm just glad the gutless wonder Carlos Boozer failed again.

Back from four days in Vegas and the Spurs look done, after another game or two.
Great stay at the MGM and loved the sportsbooking aspect.
Utah, too, but I think Phoenix can take L.A.
I'm calling it now ... Phoenix vs. Cleveland in the Finals.

Interesting . . . definitely possible with how well Phoenix is playing, and the fact that LeBron will not be denied again.

    Oh.

(goes to put money on a Lakers/Orlando Finals)

I lost 110 on Spurs minus 6 last game so Orlando might, yes, win it all.
The Spurs screwed screwed up a 4-team parlay, too, where I had three baseball winners.
Orlando sure relishes a shot at Cleveland.
Nash is due some Finals face time, if anyone is.
Aside from this reach-out to "those who might be profiled" over the weekend, he's pretty much been a stand-up guy that's stayed clear of controversy.
And my, has he excelled on the court. Grant Hill, too.
Now there's a guy who's due some Finals face time.

He would have been a nice longterm second banana for LeBron.

    But he screwed the Cavs.

    Pretty interesting list.

I think Iverson has taken himself from "unanimous consensus choice" to "in with a struggle" with his last 3-4 years of "absolutely don't give a fuck" playing.

Basketball careers aren't long enough you can throw away 30-40% of them taking shits on the court.

He'll still get in, but it won't be easy.
