Everyone got fucked when Hedo left Orlando, but last year he was a hell of a player in the playoffs.

Vince was an upgrade. Not sure how anyone could dispute Vince being the better player.

But once the Magic realize they're building a team around a glorified defensive specialist, the better off they'll be. The four-shooters-around-Dwight may work in the regular season, but that won't fly in the postseason against quality defensive teams that will expose Dwight's vast offensive limitations.

The Magic made the finals last season and the conference finals this year. How does that fall within the definition of not working in the playoffs? I get it, they haven't won the championship yet, but only one team can win it all. Shaquille O'Neal didn't win a title until his eighth season.

Also, I'd like to note that, in 2010-2011, Rashard Lewis will be the fourth or fifth highest paid player in the NBA.

They did. Stoudemire looked like he did in the 2005 playoffs. I also can't wait until some game down the line when the Lakers have 10 more free throws than the Suns and conspiracy theorists start saying, see, told ya Stern will do anything to get the Lakers in the Finals. Completely ignoring the 20-3 advantage Phoenix had in the first half tonight (or the fourth quarter of Game 4 of the Finals last year, or Game 2 in the 2008 Finals).

Lakers like Farmar and Brown again played like crap on the road after doing well at home. And Odom and Artest fired up brick after brick after brick. I think the Lakers will figure out the zone a little better in the next game and not shoot 32 threes.

Stoudemire would be nuts to leave Phoenix. He gets a lot of easy shots because Steve Nash sets him up very well. If he were playing in a different offense, he might not get that many good looks. Lopez played well for Phoenix tonight, too.

Go Suns!! Everyone should quit writing them off, even though it's in the NBA cards for a Lakers-Celtics final (read: bigger ratings).

Here's one watcher who won't turn it on if Kobe is there.

    Howard is so one-dimensional.

Orlando also overpaid for Rashard Lewis, who should never be anything other than a third option. They game him superstar coin though.
