And I think most of Jordan's games came at a time when scoring was pretty low. I remember a lot of 88-85 type games in his playoffs.

And he was getting his ass kicked all over the place, too.

I think Jordan's teams lost three home Finals games I remember, in 1991, 1992, and 1993. I'm sure there were others. That happens. The question is, can Bryant's Lakers team win a road game against Boston. They couldn't in '08. They couldn't come close in '08.
I understand that the NBA doesn't want anyone to believe it existed before 1980. But are they trying to pretend it didn't exist before 2000 nowadays?

You are right it is just a discussion and even if Kobe gets 7 rings, it is still just a discussion. Jordan was the man for six rings. Kobe has been the man for one.

No chance the Lakers lose three straight in Boston. No freaking way. Neither will L.A. This series WILL come back to L.A. It's a lock. Hell, it shouldn't surprise anyone if the Lakers took two of three.

Without Kobe, no chance the Lakers win three straight. And yes, that's an argument you can use with anyone, but Kobe averaged 21, 29, and 26 points per game during the three-peat (playoffs only). Shaq was the man, yes, but it's not like Kobe didn't contribute. He contributed heavily.

Of the second threepeat: didn't lose at home in 96, 99% sure they won their first two home games in 97 then lost two straight at Utah, won Game 5 (Jordan's flu game) and Game 6 was Steve Kerr's shot, 1998 they split the first two in Utah won Games 3 and 4 at home then lost Game 5 at home and everyone knows what happened in Game 6 in Utah.

    So, one other home loss.

But last night the Lakers just fell apart. I just do not remember seeing the Bulls getting outscored like that in the last four minutes.

From memory Jordan's last game as a Bull: 87-86 and the last game of the 97 series: 90-86.

Lots of things wrong journalistically with this, but rumor that the Cavs are after Izzo.

    http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/rumors/post/Cavaliers-hiring-Izzo-to-coach-?urn=nba,246111

First off, this blogger/twitter boy writes in the first sentence that the Cavs have found their next coach. Apparently blog boy thinks making an offer is equivalent to signing a contract.

Plus, Izzo ain't leaving MSU this year, not with what he has coming back and coming in. He'll easily be top three in the preseason poll.

Ryan, it's my guess that if the Lakers don't win Game Three, which they could very well do, they won't win any in Boston. I don't see them as much of a come-from-behind team.

Ray Allen isn't hitting 8 three-pointers every game. Kobe isn't going to have another game like he did last nihgt. The Celtics will not win three-straight in Boston. Not gonna happen.
