    Wojnarowski doesn't like LeBron:

Not usually a fan of his, but his stuff on LeBron the last month-plus has been on point.

  3. No it hasn't....it's been overkill.....we get it Adrian...You don't like LeBron...move the fuck on

Yea, what, four or five articles saying negative, and mostly proven things about LeBron. It is obvious he doesn't like him, but LeBron is in the news and will be at the forefront of all NBA talks for the next three weeks. What is he supposed to write about? I generally like LeBron. But the growth of his ego has not made him any more likeable.

How have his knees looked to you after round 2?

Does he still look like he did 2 years ago?

  6. No......but he's also not done as a very good player. He's still a borderline all-star, even if he isn't the superstar he once was

In spurts he is, over the long haul he isn't.

You want the iron-clad proof that Jordan is not only better than Kobe, but also the best ever? Take a look at the 1993-94 Bulls. The year before they win 57 games and a title with him, the next year? Out of the playoffs...wait, what? Oh, that's right, they still won 55 games and lost in seven to an eventual NBA finalist.

Look, Jordan may still be king of the hill, but it's galling to hear people speak with such arrogance on the matter ('I saw him play and I'm clearly smarter than you, so he's the best!'). If you see some of the special things that Kobe Bryant has done over the years and still don't believe that he belongs in the discussion, then basketball just isn't your thing.

Doing a little research on the 2-3-2 format. Here's an astounding stat and one that's especially critical in reference to Tuesday night:

Since the NBA went to the 2-3-2 format in 1985, there have been 10 series that were tied 1-1. In those series, the team that won Game 3 went on to win the series every time. Ten for ten.

Another stat I cling to as a Lakers fan - in those 10 series, the team with homecourt at the start of the series has won 7 times. The 1985 Celtics, the 1998 Jazz and the 2004 Lakers are the three teams who didn't win.

One more stat STG: The team with the three home games in the middle has never won the series on its home court with a sweep, and only one (2006 Heat) has ever swept them. Of course, this mostly speaks to how uncompetitive so many Finals in the 2000s have been.

The 2004 Detroit Pistons would like a word with you.

    My apologies to those Pistons.
