I don't remember the play but chances are Rondo deserved it.

    Which part?

Many players do borderline things on the floor to land a blow to another player. Kobe and Malone were great at it.

And the shot ends when the player lands. It keeps defenders from undercutting shooters.

The play with Artest and Rondo had no effect on the game. None. Zippy. Who gives a shit?

Is THAT play really what stuck out to you from last night's game?

    No.

It just happened about 30 seconds after I turned the game on. The NBA game just has gotten so fast and so physical it seems nearly impossible to officiate it accuratly. I know calls will be missed, but what is missed now just is staggering. I don't know if there is a solution, and as a viewer I do not like seeing all the missed calls on replay.

Not sure what to tell you. That's not a problem that just popped up this week.

Again, if you've watched every game of the Finals, you should have noticed that the officiating has gotten better with each game. Hopefully, it stays that way for Game 7. The officials have played very little part in the Finals so far.

It's just dirty play, flopping and missed calls are reasons why I am watching less and less NBA basketball.

Just me bitching about the NBA in general, and these two teams might be some of the worst offenders in the league. I love watching Allen, but I cannot stand watching Artest.

That was not a dirty play. Not everything Artest does is dirty, despite what you might believe.

I'm going to disagree on that. Ron got what he wanted on that play.

I have little sympathy for Rondo, because he fouls on practically every rebound. But that was Ron being Ron. He's just letting Rondo know there is a price to pay for driving to the hoop. And Rondo is a tough guy. He knows that. I respect how he didn't bitch. He just spit out some blood, and got ready to play again. Pierce would have been rolling on the ground for five minutes, flailing his arms and acting like he needed an epidural to deal with the pain.

The real story from that game is Perkins injury. Wallace and Davis can't handle Gasol in LA. They need a physical tough guy like Perkins to take the lead. If he's toast, Boston will need to shoot really well to get back and set up their defense. Because if Gasol can get easy buckets by establishing early position, LA is a different team.

Rondo by far is the guy who became a superstar in this playoffs.

Now if he cen just perfect that jumper in the off season...

If Rondo is needs to work on anything, it's his free-throw shooting.

Have you actually been, you know, watching this series?
