That was Game 1. It doesn't matter what the hell they did in Game 1 when they couldn't close in these last three.

Yeah, you do. No team has ever come back from 1-3 down in the Finals to win.

But they didn't get the rings until it was 4-1, 4-2 or 4-3.

Mine too. If the Heat don't win game 5 Monta Elilis and the boys can easily run the table.

Heat win next game. It's not going back to OKC. Thunder won't make any big changes but may tweak the lineup some. Getting Eric Maynor will help next year. But they need some scoring depth. Tonight showed that. They need someone that can contribute some points when Harden, Westbrook or Durant goes cold. They've spent the last couple of years trying to address defensive concerns. Time to add a little offense.

I am not sure I am seeing the need for more offense for OKC, scoring has not been their issue, brain farts on both ends of the floor has been. Hopefully with more experience these get rectified.

OKC could probably do a better job on team D as well. There will come a point when they will need to block out rather than being athletic enough to outjump everyone on the boards.

Is that accurate? I could have sworn it's happened in the last decade or so, but I'm probably thinking of the conference finals.

Yes, it's accurate. No team has ever come back being down three games to one in the NBA Finals.

I've never really understood the thinking of doing it 2-3-2 instead of 2-2-1-1-1.

Yeah, I just checked on the one that I thought it was...

I don't see OKC having a chance even if it wins Game 5.

Cross-country flights. Big concern when LA-Boston, LA-Philly, etc were playing a ton in the Finals back in the 80s
