It won't. The majority will still hate James. And love Durant.

    Nothing wrong with that.

This reminds me of Game 6 in 2008, when the Celtics won by 39 points and Kobe quit on his team.

Anything to not give LeBron the proper credit right?

Bullshit, a title is a title.

We're not at that ridiculous point. Spolestra hasn't been doused in Gatorade yet.

A double ** title: they also get one for Derrick Rose blowing out his knee.

OK, we get it, ABC, the Thunder tried hard too. In some alternate universe, Inside the NBA is preparing their "Gone Fishing" segment.

No one has ever forced a Game 7 after trailing 3-1. Isn't that a bit odd. A big reason seems to be talent wins out in the NBA. While in MLB and NHL sometimes luck or randomness plays a bigger role (of course not clutch or choking because the sabremetricians know there's no such thing). But sometimes it seems NBA teams maybe mail it in more or the team in the lead goes for the jugular. just seems strange that a 3-1 lead means series doesn't ever go 7.

I think that a big reason for the LeBron hate was the notion that he was an underachiever in big games who had not earned the accolades he received, particularly the self-aggrandizing that went on during free agency.

That starts to go away a little bit now.

Fun to see the joy on his face. I wasn't always sure he got this part. He seems to get it more than I gave him credit for. Or at least realized somewhere along the way how vital this is to his legacy. And how hard it is to achieve, too.

Very classy by Durant and all of the Thunder.
