I'm pretty sure the entire population of Oklahoma City was racist until 2008.

I've been a Suns fan since high school, when Charles Barkley arrived (I loved Barkley), and before that I was a Lakers fan thanks to Magic. There are plenty of the type of OKC fans like that, and there is a chunk of people who think the NBA is full of "thugs and criminals" because all they remember is when one idiot does something stupid. I've followed sports long enough to know that in pretty much any pro league for every guy who is a jackass there are 30 more who do good things that you never hear about.

I live in Oklahoma, and though I don't live down there, I think it's safe to say there's still a chunk of Oklahoma City that's racist. But you can say that about Texas and a lot of the South, too.

Haters, just tip your cap to LeBron for winning the Championship.

I migrated to the Suns after Seattle left. Mainly due to Nash.

I love Nash. Was disappointed they couldn't win one with him, Stoudemire and Marion.

Yep, Nash is my favorite NBA player. Will be interesting to see if he leaves Phoenix this summer. I thought he might wind up in New York before D'Antoni left. Who knows?

BTW, score one for the small ball philosophy--the Heat only had one player taller than 6'8" (Bosh) getting minutes, and didn't pay for it at all--instead it was OKC's biggest guy, Perkins, who was looking too slow and foolish throughout the series.

Given the way NBA teams tend to copy whatever worked the year before, don't be surprised if you see teams trotting out a lot of lilliputian lineups next year.

woke up this morning and realized I still have to go to work, pay my bills and take my medicine. L'Bron winning hasn't changed a thing.

How cringe worthy must someone like Wilbon feel to share the stage with Magic Johnson and Jalen Rose. I understand their backgrounds, but because they are in the lime light, and are de facto role models, should they not make the effort to speak in grammatically correct sentences? Or does being the minstrel show clown have more value?

I think Stoney is right. James took the leap this last few weeks, and how long he can hold off OKC and Chicago will be what makes the NBA fun for the next 4-5 seasons.
