Missed two free throws, as well. We were informed that this was "fatigue."

If the pbp I'm seeing is correct, the entirety of LeBron's offense in the final four minutes was ...

    3:35: Missed 3-pointer
    0:54: Two missed FTs

    That's your 3-time MVP.

    It's the fatigue, man.

The end of game drive by Wade was awful. It looked like he figured he would get bailed out by the refs like he always does. Love seeing the heat lose, here's hoping it lasts.

Tim Duncan is fundamentally good at basketball.

The way LeBron remembers "Hoosiers," Jimmy says, "Great call on the decoy, Coach Dale."

So, is LeBron now the basketball version of A-Rod where he's the best player in the league during the regular season, but if you need a player to hit a couple foul shots at the end of a playoff game, you almost know he's going to choke?

I liked the SI article on James a couple weeks back. They paint it like "Oh, he's not selfish, he passes the ball to his teammates." I read that as "He's too chickenshit to take a big shot."

Hell, the guy even backed away from taking the final shot in the All-Star Game. An exhibition.

The reason I bring up Jimmy from Hoosiers is even fictional great players tell their coaches to give me the damn rock. That James didn't speak up when Spoelstra said the ball is going to Chalmers is stunning for a superstar player. Just as stunning would be if James did speak up, Spoelstra told him to shut up, and James meekly said, "Ok, coach."

The unfortunate thing for James is that those last few minutes obscure the fact that his team isn't close to being close at the end without him. Not just on offense. With Bosh out, he had to muscle with David West, no easy task, and then run out and cover when the ball went outside. I think that took a lot out of him.

So talk on the interwebs about whether Wade should get a suspension for his hit on Collison.

In a normal world, I'd say no. But then Jason Smith got 2 games for a similar hit on Blake Griffin.

Was Smith's that much worse that he gets 2 and Wade will get nothing? Wade and Smith will receive equal justice, right? Okay, okay.

I'm still waiting for Wade to be disciplined for his shot on kobe at the All-Star game.

The 2009 MLB playoffs would like to point out that chokers don't win the Babe Ruth Award, given by the BBWAA to the postseason MVP.
