    It was Steve Blake time.

    Infuriating.

    Blame list:

    1. Mike Brown
    2. Kobe
    3. Steve Blake
    4. Ramon Sessions (for getting owned on offense so frequently by Westbrook, Brown was forced give so many minutes to Blake.)
    5. Bynum (just because)

So when is Phil Jackson announced as the Lakers coach?

When I think of the Heat and Lakers, the first names that come to mind for taking the final shot in big games are definitely Chalmers and Blake.

Actually, the adjustments from Game 1 to Game 2 were damn good. I'm by no means a Mike Brown fan, but for the first 46 minutes, it was pretty good. But then the Lakers had to start gagging up the ball and forgot to play the defense that got them to the situation they got to.

9-0 to end the game is the sign of a championship-caliber team and one that is exiting, stage right.

That's highway robbery for the Thunder, and with back-to-back games in L.A., its virtually wrapped up. No way the Lakers win four of the next five. If you're a championship team, you close out that game. Period.

At least Blake was open. But come the fuck on and point taken. For fuck's sake.

Kobe made three critical errors down the stretch, let's not forget that.

And that was the kind of situation that Derek Fisher seemed to thrive in for the Lakers.

Kobe looked 75 years old on that last possession.

If Kobe doesn't try to throw a stupid pass that Durant picks off for a dunk with the Lakers up 75-70, I'm fairly confident the Lakers win this game. OKC was struggling for buckets, and couldn't make jumpers. That was an easy two, and then Blake follows it up with a dumb turnover the very next possession. Kobe was garbage down the stretch, and deserves the lion's share of the blame for this (and this is coming from someone who has defended him for years.) Brown didn't do him any favors by calling a string of terrible plays down the stretch. (Why not post Kobe up?) I don't blame Blake much. That's not why he's on this team. It was actually a smart play by Artest, who I thought played a really good game on defense.

Yeah, unlike Chalmers, that was an open look, but come on, you're down one. You don't need a three there. Low percentage shot that was unnecessary when you've got Gasoft and Bynum down low. Likely the series right there.
