I feel like Wade, until yesterday, has really gotten a pass for what a douche he is. I think LeBron might actually be a decent guy who has made some selfish, tone deaf decisions. But deep down, he's not a bad dude. Wade is a prick. And maybe that attitude has helped make Wade a great player, but he is a cold SOB sometimes with a pretty fragile ego.

Just a quick comment as a Sixers fan. Not the most talented bunch, but I'll keep 'em.

wade and James could star in a remake of Mean Girls. Petulant, self absorbed and spoiled with all the maturity of a 15 year old girl. Wade is the child of Eddie Haskell and Shannon Dougherty.

The Spurs may not be a big market team, but they execute the fundamentals of basketball better than any team in the NBA. And have for several years.

Gawd this game is dreadfully boring -- and I say that as a die-hard Lakers fan. Too many whistles. Too many free throws. No flow or tempo. Lots of clutching and grabbing.

Funny how quickly attitudes can change. Wade is suddenly a petulant prima donna because he got into a little spat with Spoelstra? Come on, the guy has been a gamer his whole career and a hell of a player to boot. If that same exchange was shown on TV and the Heat won, everyone would be saying what a competitor he is.

Far be it from me as a Knicks fan to compliment the Heat, but Wade is worth watching every night.

The fact that he's worth watching and the fact that he's a prick are two completely different things. Kobe is a prick, and he's been worth watching for nearly two decades.

Wade is a gamer. A lot of assholes are gamers. Kevin Garnett is clearly both. Being good at sports often means you're a dick.

    Nice Laker win, btw.

I agree with you wholeheartedly, and Larry Bird and Michael Jordan are two prime examples of that. The tone I picked up on from previous posts, though, had a lack of respect for Wade as a player. Calling Wade a "douche," "petulant," "fragile," "self-absorbed" or a "15-year-old girl" are pretty new descriptions of him, I'd say. I'd even argue that if LeBron were not on his team, nobody would bat an eye at his little spat with Spoelstra.

Jordan got into it with Phil, Bird got into it with K.C. Jones and Magic got into it with Riley at some point. I don't think anyone would say they were acting like "15-year-old girls."

I think what made him look so foolish is he was playing like shit. He's been terrible this series and his reaction has been to attack his coach in frustration. Jordan and Bird didn't attack their coach as an excuse for poor play.

Simmons dropped this discussion in his NBA column on Friday. Wade has been a bit of a cheap shot artist all year. It's obvious the pressure of the Lebron circus has gotten to him a bit. That's where the criticism -- legit criticism -- is coming from.

They're not in trouble in this series because of Lebron. Not in the least. It's Wade who is killing them. and that's brought out the worst in him.

I can't say I'm surprised to see the Lakers win last night. I didn't think they'd get swept, but I have trouble thinking they're going to win more than 1, maybe 2 games in the series. However, stranger things have happened.
As for Boston-Philly, I'm a Celtics fan (and was torn when they were playing the Hawks in the first round since I'm in Georgia) and was ticked off to see them blow that lead. Still, series is tied 2-2. C's just need to get this next one to get some momentum back.

Would love to see a Family Feud episode, FoxNews v MSNBC. Hannity v. Sharpton...
