    Please.

He was fouled at least twice. Look at Durant's right arm getting hooked.

Yeah, that was a superstar no-call, but don't forget Jordan lived on those.

That foul/no foul will be the biggest topic of discussion for two days. Sadly.

Edit: No question, it was a foul.

Wilbon and Magic Johnson both say the foul should have been called.

    To LLT and Quakes:

You want to say Barkley, Malone, Stockton, etc. are greater players than Magic, Jordan, Bird, Jabbar, Russell, Havlicek? Your symbol for "great" would be the Statue of Liberty "give us your tired, your poor, your huddled masses."

All I'm saying is "great" is overused and way too much of a catch-all. I'd classify the players I listed as "greats." For any of the guys you've listed, I'd say, "Yep, he was a helluva player."

ITT: Sock Puppet redefines words to mean whatever he wants them to mean.

I think in order to be "great" a player has to have made a major contribution to men's fashion. Just how I use it. Any player who was really, really good at basketball can't really be called "great" without that.

Uh, OK. I guess I don't know the line between "great" and "hell of a."

AndDurant should have fouled out on the charge that was called a block.

    "Jordan lived on those."

Jordan played in a different era when the game was more physical and border line dirty. Too many of the "superstars" of today are pussies. The 1980s Detroit Pistons laugh at what passes for tough play today.

I have my definition and standards, you folks are welcome to your own definitions and standards. Not saying I'm right. Just expressing an opinion.
