Lots of folks around here getting a kick out of that one, in part because the asker isn't terribly well regarded in some circles.

It's funny to me how people watch a super slow motion replay of two athletes moving at a lightening quick pace and then retroactively scream "Conspiracy!" That play was so much harder to judge in real time, in part because Durant didnt let the contact affect him very much, if at all. Honestly, it just didn't seem like a foul in real time. It's only when you slow it down and see he's hooking Durant's arm that it's a blatant "Conspiracy!"

As Brian Phillips said on Twitter, tough call, but how about not falling behing 18-2 in your own building instead of focusing on one bad call.

No conspiracy... Just a bad non-call...

    Yeah, well, er, ah . . .

    And the answerer is.

If it's, uh, a couple of other players saying what Durant said, the response here is, "What a douche answer. Reporters use that all the time!"

+1 on this. A lot of today's stars gripe every single time they don't get a foul called and it's just annoying to me. Shut up, stop whining and play the game.

Indeed. OKC came out flatter than Panhandle grassland. If Miami's proven one thing in this playoffs, it's that they are capable of getting off the mat after taking a hard punch.

I'm about as pro-LeBron as you'll find around here, and that was a clear foul.

Of course, so was this, but it hasn't tarnished his legacy:

Virtually everyone, except Durant, who said when asked if it was a foul, "I missed the shot, man." Look, maybe it was a foul, but when I watched it in slow motion, his shooting arm was not distracted upon the release. He blatantly missed a 10-foot jumper that he normally knocks down. Had that shot gone in, would all of you people still be bitching that he should have gone to the line for a free throw? Answer that honestly.

Who's everyone? I think it was a foul, but I don't really have a problem with the ref letting it go. It wasn't al all-out mugging that simply couldn't be overlooked. It wasn't that bad. Most of the people I've heard and read agree that it was a foul, but also think it was a good no-call. If you call EVERY foul EVER committed, you'll have one shitty game.

Jesus Christ. People crying about fouls and no fouls are the fucking WORST.

It was a foul, but you can't blame the game on that. 18-2. You fall behind 18-2, you don't deserve to win. I imagine that if this game was 3 minutes longer, the Thunder would have won. But it wasn't. And this one play didn't decide the game. I'm sure there were plenty of non-calls that went against the Heat. It's the nature of basketball. You get hacked basically anytime you have the ball and move somewhere with it.

Hard to blame one call for losing a game when you're at home and you get down like that. Shouldn't have dug themselves that hole to begin with.

Wanted to clarify that when I said "around here," I meant here in OKC, not here on SportsJournalists.com. Folks in this case being average joes, not other journalists.
