I'm very excited for the second round matchups, as well as game 7 between the Jazz and the Rockets (sticking with my Rockets in 7 prediction - TMac will finally advanced).

PHX-SAS: Clash of styles. A lot of people think the NBA champion will come from this matchup

GSW-UTH/HOU: Another clash of styles, whoever wins out between HOU and UTH. How far can GSW go? How healthy will they be?

DET-CHI: Are the Baby Bulls ready to take out the Pistons?

NJ-CLE: I'm really excited for this matchup. Vince vs LeBron

Should be a great Saturday. The big boxing match, Game 7 HOU-UTH, and the start of CHI-DET.

The Suns/Bulls had there fun in the frist round well done for both clubs, but I'm sorry this has to come to and end. The Pistons are going to take out the Baby Back Bulls and as always the Spurs will take out the Suns. Now as for the CAVS/NETS this I find hard to take out an openion on because I like both of the teams so I will say this that this series will go in 7 games and the winner will be LBJ & the CAVS.

The key words: "And his son." His son is with the club, not Nellie.

Seriously, blaming Nellie two years after he's gone is like blaming Larry Brown for the Pistons' problems.

I didn't see anyone "blaming" Nellie for the Mavs being a Gary Payton "what-the-fuck" jump shot from winning the whole kaboodle (if not the kit)

    Ridiculous.

Gritty Warrior Baron Davis consoles anticipated league MVP Dirk Nowitzki while Mark Cuban negotiates the celebratory Golden State confetti following GSW's series-clinching win in Game 6 over the 67-win Mavs. It was the largest upset in the history of the NBA playoffs, eclipsing the best-of-5-format Nuggets victory over the heavily-favored Sonics in 1994.

Look at that sore loser Dirk with that dirty look on his face.

Looks like someone who is dreading both the series-ending press conference as well as the expected MVP ceremony which will take place while he's on vacation

Has it been announced yet that he will get or someone besides him.

Not yet. But there have been some informal surveys of some of the voters, and they are trending towards Dirk winning the award

I really hope he does not get it. I rather have Nash win it again then Dirk winning the thing.

UM, what do Devin Harris, Jason Terry, Dirk Nowitski, Jerry Stackhouse and Josh Howard all have in common -- well outside of being the CORE of the Mavericks, they were all brought to Dallas under Nellie's watch.

So yes, he is responsible for putting together the core of this team.

Now, the fact that they didn't go get Ben Wallace is obviously not his fault, but he is indeed responsible for putting this team together in its current format.
