You are missing on a huge fundamental point.

It is exceptionally difficult to get a dominating presence in the middle worth changing that very-entertaining Nelson MO.

He never got lucky enough to have access to that.

He is a great coach of a very flawed pro game (second only to fast-pitch softball, perhaps).

I'll admit Rok, I get emotional when my teams win/lose. It's natural. Everybody does it. I just had an issue with all of this fucking GS bullshit coming out of your mouth when you were right there in the regular season praising the Mavs for being a good team. Pick a side and stay on it.

As Piotr said, your taunts were becoming excessive and that's when I went off. A man can only take so much until he breaks and I reached my breaking point at that time.

And it's a damn shame you're a Cowboys fan, because now I'll have to suffer right along side you this year.

RokSki, the Kobe stuff is amusing. It's a good give and take, because we know you're just stirring the pot. And Laker fans know that while this team is not that good, we've enjoyed plenty of glory in the not so far off past.

The Mavs never have. They have no glory to cling to, just a bad referee-aided choke job last year, and getting a bad matchup this year. And there's being funny, there's stirring it up for the sake of it, there's taunting, and there's rubbing it in needlessly. You're doing the latter, and it's simply not cool. It shows little respect for people who care about their teams.

Joy over the Warriors upset should not lead to unnecessary taunting of dallas. They lost, it happens.

This is why I asked who your team was. Because if you truly gave a shit about your teams, you wouldn't constantly look to rub it in when other people are disappointed and heartbroken. You would understand that your time will come too. But it won't because you're a bandwagon jumper.

It's easy to act like an asshole and just rub it in on dudes like Tommy Dreamer, who so desperately wanted the Mavs to win. He was bleeding with that team, as I bleed with my teams.

You bleed with no one; you're the dick on the hill shooting arrows at everyone, then ducking behind the women and children when people look to return fire.

I bleed with my teams, and I have stated those teams. And when the Cowboys lost on the fumbled hold of Romo, I absorbed all the repostings of the bad hold without melting down and freaking out. It's called maturity. Tommy D took shots at me without knowing anything about my connection with the Warriors or my dislike of the Mavs stemming back from last year's Finals. I didn't answer him because I don't typically answer emotionally-fraught fanboy ramblings. But the more he and others whined about my enjoying the Mavs loss, the more it made me want to post images and words 'rubbing it in.'

I take loses by my teams like an adult, and don't bitch about them like a child, or go after people and their loyalties, or personally, in the wake of those loses. Others don't seem to handle loses by their teams as well. I treat people the same way I expect to be treated. When the Cowboys lose, or the Rockets, or the Yanks win, I'm here like I would be any other day, and take the ribbing just fine. I'm always messing with the Yanks, and Angola or PhilaYank has never said a word about it. And when the Yanks win the World Series, I'll be here to give them props and applaud their postings of the NY tabloid images

No matter how much I root for any team, I am not they: I can pull myself back from their losses or successes, and keep some type of remove from the situation. That's why the ribbing doesn't have as much of an effect on me as it apparently does on some others. That doesn't mean that I don't love my teams, it just means that I have some psychological 'distance' from them, in what I consider to be a healthy way. I think the ribbing after the Cowboys or another of my teams loses is funny, and welcome. I actually look forward to it, if you know what I mean.

Grow up. Stop whining, and you'll do a lot better with me.

Piotr once came to my 'defense' with Fenian, and then he realized that I hadn't taken anything Fenian said to me the wrong way (and Fenian hadn't said it that way, anyways). Too many people on here are babies, IMO. Get a grip. Part of the fun of rooting for teams is whooping it up when you win and getting razzed when you lose. At least that's what I come from. People resorting to foul language and babydom rants aren't going to be earning my respect or my responses anytime soon. All you're likely to do is invite more ridicule.

Chill out. Stop being so damn soft and crying about every little thing. Have some fun. When the Mavs when the title, I'll be here to listen to Tommy D's gloating, happily.

That's my advice.

I razz Chuck all the time about Kobe and he takes it better at 18 years old than a lot of so-called 'grown ups' here take similar razzing. Petty's been stalking me lately and you don't hear me bitching to mods or whining about it. You either answer it or ignore it. I'm not trying to shame him into stopping it: If he wants to humiliate himself, I'll let him. If you think I look like an ass, let me make an ass of myself. When post-padding, boorish, inane posters start accusing me of post-padding and being a jerk, I just ignore it or keep posting. You might want to learn from that.
