Six missed free throws in the fourth. Yeah, that might do it. Warriors should have won this one.

I found it ironic that in the clutch, Biedrens actually hit both free throws late (only like 53% from FT line), and someone like Pietrus misses both.

Huge props. That 3 was critical. Everything I've ever heard about him is positive, and with all he's going through with his daughter, you have to feel great for him. Good luck to his family.

Derek Fisher might very well be the most well-liked and highly respected player in the NBA, both by players and media. Anyone who's ever covered the league will tell you he's truly one of the good guys. Best of luck to his daughter.

So tonight Pistons/Baby Bulls game 3 who you got?

I know who I'm going to go with and thats the Pistons cause they just sucked all the energy out of the BABY BACK BULLS and left them with nothing this series was over when game2 ended and the Pistons won by 20 or more pts again.

You know what I would love that to happen so I can stop calling the BABY BACK BULLS cause everyone kept saying that they shouldn't be called that anymore cause they beat the Heat in the first round, but all they really did was beat down a broken down Miami Heat team with and inj D-Wade and an old roster.

    2006-07 ALL-NBA FIRST TEAM
    Forward Dirk Nowitzki, Dallas
    Forward Tim Duncan, San Antonio
    Center Amaré Stoudemire, Phoenix
    Guard Steve Nash, Phoenix
    Guard Kobe Bryant, L.A. Lakers

    2006-07 ALL-NBA SECOND TEAM
    Forward LeBron James, Cleveland
    Forward Chris Bosh, Toronto
    Center Yao Ming, Houston
    Guard Gilbert Arenas, Washington
    Guard Tracy McGrady, Houston

    2006-07 ALL-NBA THIRD TEAM

    Forward Kevin Garnett, Minnesota
    Forward Carmelo Anthony, Denver
    Center Dwight Howard, Orlando
    Guard Dwyane Wade, Miami
    Guard Chauncey Billups, Detroit

The thing that baffled me was this:
    Steve Nash(1st team votes 129) 645 points
    Kobe Bryant(128) 643 points
    Tim Duncan(94) 547 points

    Dirk Nowitzki(125) 634 points
    LeBron James(64) 494 points

Keep in mind guys, you don't do this like the MVP. How does a player who plays absolutely no defense, get a unanimous decision for the 1st team? Can you argue for Nash to be on the 1st team? No doubt. But unanimous decision? Come on now. Nash is not the best player in the league. Hell, he's probably not even top 5. And you're gonna give him a unanimous decision over the best player in the league?

Secondly, Dirk over 'Bron. Again, this isn't the MVP race(even though I still think 'Bron is more valuable). This is the 1st team. You're gonna tell me that Dirk Nowitzki is a better player than LeBron James? That's laughable.

That's exactly why I hate this Dirk vs. Nash thing. It gets people to think that they're the top 2 players in the league when in fact, they're probably not even in the top 5.

Chuck, right now Nash is the very best player in the league because he's the most important player to his team, the same way the Lakers wouldn't have functioned -- and didn't -- without Magic Johnson. Yes, a unanimous pick to the 1st team is warranted, and deserved.

No no no no no no. Listen to what you just said. "Nash is the very best player in the league because he's the most important player". I'm not gonna' argue with you on the important player thing, because that's another debate. But what you just said makes no sense. THE BEST PLAYER. There's no doubt, that Kobe Bryant is the best basketball player on the planet. None. Hell, Nash isn't even better than Wade or LeBron. And you're gonna give a unanimous decision to a guy who's getting burned by........Tony Parker?

I'd take Nash over Kobe for BEST PLAYER ON THE PLANET.

Just because Kobe can score 81 or whatever he scored that night doesn't make him best. He very good. Hell, he's on my favorite team. But Nash has won me over with everything he does with the ball. We all have different ideas on what makes the best player. I respect your opinion on Kobe.
