Would have been interesting to see. LeBron's built like an All-Pro tight end, so it would be interesting to see how much punishment he could shrug off.

He was an all state wide receiver at SV SM :D

Would have been interesting to see if he kept playing how far he could go. Seems like the kind of guy that would have success in most sports.

    I think he could've been a better version of Harold Carmichael(also 6'8)

I know, it's shameful. He was before my time is my lame excuse. Plus I never really gave a damn about the Eagles.

Can't fully agree with you, Oz. Wallace would have been forced to guard LeBron on pick-and-rolls just like Jason Maxiell was when Sideshow Bob came up high to set the screen. LeBron got to the hole because Detroit was playing one-on-one.

The traps were about the only thing working, but the Pistons wouldn't stay in them and quickly retreated to their man. Which shows way too much respect for the Cavs supporting cast, which is usually atrocious and non-clutch (why expect anything else for Game 6? Make THEM beat you, not LeBron). Plus the only mid-range jumper threats (Z, Gooden) when LeBron draws the double from a PF or C, where fouled out. You think Varaejo has a jumper? Or fatboy Donyell Marshall is going to do any damage?

And how about staying in the 3-2 zone? LeBron wasn't doing much during the first half of the fourth quarter when the Pistons were in it. Then they go man-to-man and LeBron goes batty. Coincidence? The zone would have also helped in OT and double OT when players were gasping for air. They wouldn't have to be in the demanding man-to-man.

Also, why didn't the Pistons run more plays to the guy who LeBron was guarding? Rip/Tayshaun? Last time I knew, Rip was like a tireless robot running off screens. Make LeBron work on defense; wear him down on that end of the floor. Make him switch and have to guard Rasheed in the post or Chauncey at the top of the key. Instead, it was just coming down the floor and going straight to Rasheed in the post or letting Chauncey penetrate and drawing the Cavs defense and then turning the ball over or him pulling up for a jumpshot (when he didn't have his legs) and missing. Sorry, when you're Saunders you tell your offense to run through the guy who LeBron is guarding.

LeBron took advantage of what was given to him and turned in one of helluva performance. When you've got that kind of talent and the bulletproof mindset and they're clicking, you're going to dominate. Especially if the other team is letting you.

NDub: Numerous valid points throughout your last few posts. ... But, yes, feel free to bitch about Flip Saunders. The man cannot win to save his life (and look at some of the players he has had during his career).

Also, what kind of respectable team has two Flips on its bench?

Ugly basketball in Cleveland, no shot clock or score in the arena.

Anybody watching the Cavs/Pistons game? I guess that the 21 minute delay of the game and now not having shot clocks or having a score on the jumbotron isn't that big of a deal!

    Edit: 48-48 at half
Lebron 0-2 from the field 9 points 7 rbs and 5 assists 2 blocks and 1 steal
