Look at Nash. His team is on a great run and he's layin' on the ground chillin'

    MVP!

Rok, after watching this, you can't sit there and tell me that Nash is the MVP.

Rok, I hope you watch this tape.

IF Kobe continues to pass, THERE IS NO CHANCE IN HELL THE LAKERS WILL WIN A GAME IN THIS SERIES.
He took 1 shot in the 2nd quarter. Continued to pass to his teammates and they continued to miss easy layups and open shots.

The Suns make their incredible run while Nash was chillin' and laying down on the floor. MVP? You've got to be kidding me. Kobe goes out for what seems like 3 minutes, and the Suns make an even bigger explosion. There's no question who's the MVP is. No question.

I can't wait for the same people who cried Sunday that Kobe needed to pass the ball more to scream that Kobe quit Tuesday cuz he only attempted 13 shots.

Nash has 16 points, 14 assists, only three turnovers. Kobe? A quiet 15 points.

But I didn't need the stats to tell me who played more like an MVP tonight.

I wonder what Nash's stats would look like if his starting five was himself, Farmar, Odom, Kwame Brown and Luke Walton ........

Actually, I would dare say Nash would be OK with those Lakers. Because his job us to make sure everyone gets in the flow. I don't think his numbers would be that bad. The NBA has always had guys who have put up huge numbers on bad teams, Kobe being one of them. I doubt Nash would any different.

It's not about stats ... Bryant puts up stats. I'm asking if you think Nash would WIN with that "supporting" cast?

You didn't ask about wins, you asked about stats. So I talked specifically about stats.

It's usually better to just let the Kobe fuckers just have their own little party. They won't have anything to talk about in roughly a week anyway.

You're right. My bad. That's what I get for posting after a night on the copy desk. Ugh.
As far as Nash's stats go on the Lakers, I think his scoring would go up, but his assists would drop by 3 or 4 per game. Take it from someone who has seen nearly every Laker game since 1980 ... there is not one consistent scorer on the team besides Bryant. The sad thing is, even though Nash would probably set them up with layups, this Laker team blows so many close-range shots, his deft passing wouldn't help.

Do you think Kobe could mesh in with the Suns? I think it'd take him a season or two to figure out how to alter the style of play he's had to play with the last 2 or 3 seasons. I think Marion is kind of like Odom and wouldn't challenge Bryant for the ball, but I think Stoudamire is a dominant enough personality that he'd get Bryant's respect on the court. Barbosa is also very aggressive and would definitely help in taking over games.
I guess all we have to answer those questions are PlayStations and X-Boxes. LOL

Hey Hammer, no one was talking to you. It was between Oz and I and even though he could've ripped me when I mis-typed, he had class enough not to. Why you're interjecting, I don't know.
