You keep digging that hole there RAMBO. It's like you ever post anything of intelligence on here anyway.

Kobe played great the first quarter, and into the second. The way he was distributing was outstanding, as I said here early in the game.

The problem was the defense, and that the Suns were making shots. That was the missing ingredient in the first half of the first game. PHX usually shoots well, and they started doing it in the second quarter. LAL's weak defense didn't help any.

I'm not surprised by this result, which is why I wrote after looking at the tape of the first game that Game 1 was likely the best chance the Lakers would get to take a game in the series, at least in PHX.

    A few reasons
    1. For fun
    2. Kobe is a selfish player who won't amount to shit without Shaq
    3. Kobe defenders are fish in a barrel

But it's all in good fun. Anyone who defends Kobe on this board is going to get a fair amount of shit.

Please. If it was between you and Oz, it would have been in a PM.

It took you three posts to get to that point?
You're right though ... when I post on a public message board, I should expect to take potshots from idiots.

Yes. Someone named "GimpyScribe," with a pic of the shocker in his avatar, "should expect to take potshots from idiots." Douchenozzle.

Wow ... people just coming out nowhere to jump all over me. I guess I shouldn't be offended and should just shut up when someone comes out of nowhere and calls me "Kobe fucker."

Oz, I bet you didn't even watch the game.

Kobe played the game exactly how Steve would've played it. He passed the ball around and got his teammates involved. They continued to miss open shots and easy layups
He can't afford to do that. Last game, he took the game over. Shot after shot. Had 28 points at the half and the Lakers were up by 11. Last night, he goes out and tries to dish and the Lakers end up losing by 28 points.
And like I mentioned before, when the Suns started to pull away from the Lakers in the second quarter, Nash wasn't even on the floor. It was all Marion, Barbosa, Bell, and Stoudemire. The played perfect basketball without him on the floor. Kobe took 1 shot in the 2nd quarter. PJAX took Kobe out to get some rest, and the lead exploded again. PJAX panicked and put him back in after only 3 minutes of rest.
The Lakers can't even afford to have him sit on the bench for 3 minutes. So you're gonna' tell me Stevie Nash is the MVP?
The whole game was a great example of how this MVP race is a joke. When the Suns wanted to push the ball down the court, Kobe was the only one trying to get back down the court for the Lakers and Smush and Farmar played the worst D I've seen in a long time.

P.S. You wanna' talk about stats? Who would you rather be guarded by? Smush and Farmar or Raja Bell,Marion, and constant double and triple teams?

Come on, man. Chuck wouldn't be upset if I called him a Kobe fucker, and he's the president of the Midwest chapter of the Kobe Fuckers Association. Hell, I probably have called him something like that before. Mock me for loving the Cubs and watching them every day ... Others do ... It doesn't matter.

Ohhh, you're a Cubs fan ... well, let the mocking begin!
Ahhhh, screw it. I'm an Angels fan, so I know what it's like to root for a crappy team (and man, are the Angels crap right now).
Plus, you're right ... if me being a Bryant apologist makes me a "Kobe fucker" then dammit, that's what I am! I'm a "Kobe fucker" and I'm damn proud of it!

Hammer, you can call me "Kobe fucker" any time. ;)

Good stuff. Fun arguments are more fun than nasty ones.
