He shouldn't try to dish then, because we all know that if the Lakers are going anywhere, he needs to take over games. At this point, teams can't change what they are. Kobe needs to carry the load for the Lakers to have any chance. His game is not like Nash's, he shouldn't try to be anything he's not.

Plus, it's impossible to be angry at anyone wearing Hammer pants.

That's what gets me. He obviously wanted to be the alpha male, and the thought that he might go out there trying to get 10 assists sometimes just because people say he can't shows his selfishness even more. That team, for better or worse, was built for him to score 35 or more per night. And for him to try to get assists because people say he's selfish is even more selfish.

Just go do your thing, Kobe. You made this bed, now sleep in it. Chuck and duck. The best don't give a shit what people say about them.

You see, that's the thing. He can be like Nash. People love to talk about his scoring ability, but they don't realize Kobe is a very good passer. Thing this, passing isn't gonna' help if your teammates suck.
Secondly, they changed their scheme because Kobe started to get really tired at the end of games. Like I said earlier, he can't even afford to sit out for 3 minutes. The Suns took control of the game with Nash on the bench.
I can not imagine how that's supposed to tell me that Nash is the MVP. I mean, we really got to take a look at this.

Some of what you said is true, but Nash is the MVP. He is the most valuable player to a championship contender. MVPs don't get in feuds with one of the best players in league history because they want to be the show.

I don't doubt that Kobe can pass or that his teammates suck. I also don't doubt that unless he takes over games, the Lakers will be swept. Simple as that. And if they are swept, well, hard to argue Kobe for MVP when the series is done. MVPs don't get swept.

You don't think it's Kobe? Fine, I disagree with you to the umpteenth percent, but fine. That's a different discussion.
Why should Steve Nash be the MVP? Because it's quite obvious that the Suns could beat the Lakers without him.

A lot of teams could beat the Lakers without their best player. The Lakers aren't a very good basketball team, and their leader is not a leader.

You don't win MVPs for beating the seventh seed in the first round, but you do win it for overall greatness and your impact on a team, which in most cases ought to be a fairly successful one at that. Which means Nash, Nowitzki, James, etc. are the ones who should receive the most consideration.

First of all, out of those 3, James is 10X more valuable to his team. That team was on the verge of extinction before he came in.
Second of all, don't you think Kobe has maximized this team's "greatness"? And as far as impact on a team, it's obvious that Kobe has that covered.

P.S. If you wanna go by wins, then why didn't Chauncey Billups win it last year? Leader of his team. Best player on his team. Best team(and record) during the regular season.
