Phil is saying that Kobe isn't trusting his teammates enough, and Chad Ford, in his chat today, said the Lakers would be better off in the long term by trading Kobe. Sound familiar? :)

Yeah, let's build the team around Andrew Bynum ::)

Rok, if you were playing with the Lakers, would you trust them?

EDIT: He "trusted" them last game and look what happened.

You have to. That's the point. That's why Phil taught Mike, that's what he's trying to teach Kobe. You can't win if you don't; there's no chance.

And if you don't trust them, they know it and they will fail when called upon. That's one reason Kobe isn't the MVP - he doesn't make guys better. That's a HUGE flaw of his, IMO

    Dosn't make guys better?!
Where the hell was Smush Parker before he came to the Lakers? Ronny Turiaf shouldn't even be on an NBA roster right now. Who ever thought Luke Walton would be this good?
Give me a break. No one, NO ONE, would have this team in a better situation.

    Don't give me that.

EDIT: I haven't even mentioned the injuries.

Smush Parker, the guy who was getting sat down for talking back to Phil Jackson? Oh yeah, Kobe's led him all the way.

Rony Turiaf's recovery certainly isn't because of Kobe. Did Kobe do the surgery?

Luke Walton got better from Kobe? Riiiight. Nothing to do with his dad's instruction growing up.

    1. What does that have to do with Kobe?
    2. I'm not talking about the surgery. I'm talking about his play on the court.
    3. Why do you think Luke gets those open 3s?

Are you gonna' tell me Amare,Marion, Howard, and Terry would be crap with Nash and Dirk? HA!

    1. It has to do with leading your guys. No leadership = knuckleheads run
    free

    2. Turiaf's an energy guy. I like his game a lot. He's a hell of a guy, with
    or without Kobe

    3. Walton has a great bball IQ. Yes, Kobe opens up the 3's for him - when
    Kobe passes the ball :)

Nice to see ORL isn't just going to roll over.
