    Robert Horry = 6 rings (2 w/Houston, 3 w/Lakers, 1 w/Spurs). I guess that means he's better than either one. :)

Listen, I'm not trying to denigrate Shaq's success in L.A. Combined with Bryant, they were unstoppable for three seasons. The only point I'm trying to make to Rok is that it actually made long-term sense for the Lakers to deal Shaq when they did, instead of tying themselves to him for another long-term, maximum-dollar contract. And, I disagree with those who throw Shaq's 4th ring in the face of my argument because Riley assembled basically an all-star team and Dwyane Wade carried the Heat to the title. Shaq's numbers (except in games where he had MORE than one day to rest) were, at best, mediocre.

But his presence inside can make all the difference to someone like Wade or, say, Kobe.

Oh, I agree 100 percent. Shaq was the most dominant player in this era.
I just feel that Shaq's at the point now he's not worth what he was demanding to be paid by Buss. I think last year's performance in the Finals proved that (it took an unbelievable performance by Wade and a slew of great trades/free-agent signings by Riley to get it done) and, it was illustrated to an even greater extent in this series against the Bulls as a healthy Shaq was unable to get Miami past a team that didn't even win 50 games this season.

RIP Heat. Bulls win 92-79. Great news.

Odom already has two fouls in less than six minutes ... a typical big-game performance from Lamar.

Six-foot-eight Luke Walton getting outrebounded by Steve Nash ... and the Lakers have already missed 5 layups and given up almost twice that many.

Shaq is done - the cost of a ring is high

    Amare is doing dunking drills
