They just said on TNT the last time both teams who made the finals in the previous year went down in the first round was in the 1950s.
    That's crazy.

Is there any room on the Warriors bandwagon?

If - IF - the Mavs lose, who's the favorite? Phoenix? San Antonio? Detroit?

Go Golden State!! Stern must be liking the way this series is unfolding.

It's a best-of-seven, not a best-of-five. Hop on the GSW bandwagon if you will; they've definitely earned some love, but Dallas is the best team in the League and can still win three straight against what, despite its recent heroics, remains a slightly-above-average NBA team. I might break my ankles getting off if the Mavs tie it up a 3.

Good to see you're still optimistic, writingirish. Something tells me if the Warriors do win this, it might have to be in Game 6.

This sounds right. The Warriors haven't won anything yet

It actually appears to me that Dallas is going to lose the series. GS in six, sadly (to me), sounds about right in light of how things have been going. Still, it's foolish to count out the better team in an NBA playoff series, even if they're down 3-1. If Dallas would just quit handing the fucking ball to the Warriors, they'd win fairly handily. That's not as big an "if" as it seems after tonight's game.

Was anyone watching TNT just now? Someone (Sager?) was doing an on-site recap of the Suns game, and Steve Nash came up behind him and - on camera- made the most ridiculous, juvenile face.

Hell, I wish we all knew it was that easy to get Rok to put a sock in it . . . .
