And yet another chance to ask the eternally divisive question:

Whose career would you rather have -- Karl Malone's or Robert Horry's?

Malone's. He teamed with Diamond Dallas Page to beat Hollywood Hogan and Dennis Rodman at a WCW PPV a month or two after one of the two Bulls-Jazz finals. :D

Horry, so I could throw a towel in Danny Ainge's face – and be punished by getting dealt to L.A., where I win three rings.

Hmmm . . .the dude who led the charge against Magic's 1992 comeback and who got pissy about Kobe waving off his "screen" in an ALL-STAR GAME so he and Jordan could go at it . . and who still had the gall to try to gravy train a title off the Lakers anyway, or dude who has made every big shot he has ever taken (except Game five in second round at San Antonio in 2003), has multiple rings, and the respect of everyone he has ever played with and for, with the exception of Danny Ainge?

No contest. Horry, in a landslide. He looks like Will smith, so he's not entirely anonymous, but he made some great money too. And the game ultimately is all about winning titles.

It's only the seventh time he's been named to the all-defensive team. Why the surprise?

Edit: Kobe's only two behind Jordan's nine all-defensive team awards.

Believe me, they're lining up in Boston to do the same.

Ummm, oops. Does G-State close it out tonight?

I have to think Dallas at least manages to get back to Oakland.

I'm not so sure it gets back to Oakland -- did you read the comments of Dirk "I'm just another soft piece of over rated eurotrash" Nowitski? Does this sound like a guy who wants the ball with less than a minute to play and the game on the line? I've said it before and I'll say it again -- and I don't care if it offends the thought police -- I don't think any team that is led by a European is going to win a championship because they are too soft.

Larry Bird said it best when he was coaching the Pacers -- "A lot of guys want to take the shot when the game is tied, I'm looking for the guy who wants the ball when we're down by one."

That is why Dirk should not be the MVP. It seems to me when things get tight on that team it is Jason Terry who wants the ball and Dirk who is taking 30 foot fadeaways because he is being guarded to hard.
