    No way Avery Johnson gets fired here. Two years in, one year after taking his team to the finals the year before. They'll come back from this.

    All that happened was they ran into a bad match-up with a team they had had trouble with for the last two seasons. Nothing more, nothing less. It isn't a reason to implode the whole thing.

    Love Don Nelson shaking things up again.

    I started watching the NBA with his fish ties in Milwaukee, with Sikma and Moncrief.

    Is this the first time ever that the finalists have both been out before round 2?

    The NBA championship could be decided in a second-round series.

    This is the sort of weird, great, vital postseason this league desperately needed.
