At least he had a taste of stardom; Oden hasn't had anything but plenty of novacaine

Another sub-par first half for the Bulls.

And Foster elbows Deng in the head. Frank Vogel is using Jon Chaney's playbook and sent in his goon.

Two things I can't figure out:

Why don't the Bulls commit any hard fouls?

And how do the Pacers keep leaving Korver open?

The first I think has to be a mandate from Thibodeau. The second? No idea. Rose with a great drive to give the Bulls an 86-84 lead. Pacers with the last shot coming up, 17.8 seconds left.

Terrible three try from Granger, very good defense by the Bulls.

It's 3-0, but that doesn't do justice to how close these games have been. It's just that the Bulls have Rose, and the Pacers close like the White Sox.

Ha, well put. The Bulls have played badly this series, hopefully they get it out of their system.

A friend and I were talking about how Spurs and the Lakers and Boston and so many perceived powers are getting tasked in the postseason. The league right now is as balanced, talent-wise, as I've ever seen it.
That doesn't mean the players are necessarily "better" than any certain other era but there is a great deal of parity in the NBA right now from team to team, especially with regard to the 16 playoff teams.

I agree. Most years recently it seems the only legit title contenders have been the Lakers and Celtics. Even the year the Magic made the finals, it was basically a foregone conclusion that the Lakers clinched the title when the Celtics lost.

This year, there are about 8 teams with a legit shot at winning.

How long you been an OKC fan? Since the douchebag owner and his buddy David Stern took the team from Seattle?

Any time you can put Bill Walker, Anthony Carter, Shawne Williams and Jared Jeffries on the court at the same time for extended minutes in a playoff game, you have to do it.
