It is what it is. I don't think it's arrogant to tell someone that I'm going to live my life and it might be best for you to concentrate on yours instead of worrying about mine. It's reality.
The problem is that he's a professional athlete and is supposed to be liked and admired. He's supposed to be humble.
Well he's not liked and admired. I think he is humble but not in the way many would like him to be.

Awesome, BTExpress the biggest fanboi on this thread considers himself the "voice of reason." Of course he does.

Actually I think the quote was "Everbody's got a plan til they get hit."

I can't stand it when players tell their fans at an introductory pep rally "I'm here to win multiple championships"

How could they be such jerks?

I mean they should tell fans "I'm here to hopefully get this team to .500..."

    that truly was.

i wish lebron defenders would stop trying to spin lebron's post-game comments about his critics still waking up to their same life and problems while he will wake up to a life of millions and creature comforts as something more innocent than what it was: lebron stating that his critics are bitter that he's king james and they're not.

i mean, english is his first language, isn't it? or does lebron need an interpretor with him at pressers to chime in with, 'um, what lebron meant was...' ::) ::) ::)

why say either EITHER when so many options in-between would suffice? ??? ??? ???

Well, the writer seems to want to fill in the role of interpreter for us, that's for sure.

It's kind of funny when, in the process of calling somebody a douche, you end up being a douche about it yourself.

I find it hilarious that a guy who tells pathetic losers to get a life is killed for it by said losers, who are too dumb to realize they reinforce his point with every bitter, vitrol-filled whining post about what a meanie he is.

I mean, the guy lost and to his point you people are still angry and miserable

    and proud of it, dammit!

You can't be serious. if lebron handles the post-game with class, instead of speaking down to folks, that wouldn't be the case.

Clearly the alternative was to promise eight championships.
