Bullshit call of a charge on Dirk...Camby never stopped moving in the lane and should have been whistled for a def. foul
    Bullshit call.

Portland out early again. Miller is too old.

Orlando really screwed themselves with the personnel moves they made. They were a much better and more dangerous team with Vince, Lewis, Pietrius. Carter has historically been a Hawk killer and probably would have pushed them past Atlanta into the 2nd round.

The replacement pieces for the above? Hedo 2.0 is done--he was horrible this series. Arenas is a shell of his former all star self, Richardson was disappointing and Bass a complete non factor.

If they had kept their roster intact from two years ago; they'd still be playing. Maybe no further than round 2, but at least they wouldn't be pondering life without Dwight, blowing up the whole roster and digging back into the lottery pick pool.

    This'n tonight's got us stoked.
Along with several Mexican beers, we've got chipotle-crusted salmon wrapped in foil, a marinated NY strip, two chicken breasts for the grill ... plus seasoned rice and lots of other sides.
Oh, and six tickets to Game 7 that are bought and paid for.

As bad as the Spurs have played, the Grizzlies still can't put them away. A hellacious shot here, an untimely defensive breakdown by Memphis there, and the Spurs keep hanging around.

No doubt, Memphis is way more athletic than the Spurs. Cripes, near the end of the third, it seemed like the Grizz were dunking at will.

But then Ginobli pushes his way through traffic to hit a quarter-ending half-court shot, and you see the guile and grit that gets the Spurs through.

Knicks fans have to be screaming into pillows watching Zach Randolph, wondering where the hell this was in New York.

What a performance by Zach Randolph!
The Grizz got it done in this series, playing competitively in every game.
Thats a balanced team in many ways and a team for the future.
    Good night, San Antonio.

And the Grizzlies win, with Randolph hitting three amazingly difficult shots at the end. So is this the end of the big three in San Antonio? No doubt, whatever happens, the fact remains this was a terrible matchup for the Spurs. And no doubt Randolph was by far the best player on the floor.

Yeah, and Darrell Arthur, Gasol, Tony Allen, and others had their giant moments. That's a team that beat the Spurs in the regular season and did it again.
To me, the whole thing went off kilter for the Spurs when Ginobili had to miss Game 1, but they still were in it at the end, and then Battier of all people hits a huge 3 to sort of lock up the win.
That shot and that win gave them confidence to play over the top the rest of the way.
    They got it done.
