Well shit. I'll be surprised if he comes back in the game after that. Looked like it hurt.

He'll be back. The Celtics after all have Oral Roberts back there to help things along.

He's back playing like a one-armed bandit. Celtics were +1 while he was out and +7 since his return. I wonder if he can be effective in Game 4 with that single wing, though.

Maybe it's because I haven't seen 1 minute of NBA action this year, but if I'm Dallas, I go all out to close it out in 4 - I could see LA winning this series if they can turn momentum.

Not that impressed with Rondo playing with the dislocated elbow. Remember the debilitating elbow injury LeBron played with in last year's playoffs? The one we never heard about again after the playoffs?

I think the difference is we actually saw this one happen.

Slight difference: Nobody could ever figure out when Lebron's injury supposedly happened, and Lebron's injury was never diagnosed as a dislocation, in fact it was never officially diagnosed as anything other than the vaguely worded "slight strain." (after doctors shrug their shoulders and say "well, I guess we've got to call it something").

With Rondo, however, we all saw exactly when it happened, how bad it looked, and medical reports have already come back confirming a dislocation.

Rondo's elbow: undisputably a real and significant injury. Lebron's elbow: umm, not so much.

instead of not trying to win the series in 4?

A while ago. He was wearing it with the NBA logo upside down and then they decided to fine players who did that, so he stopped wearing it.
Did anyone else catch what was perhaps the best post-game interview ever with Salters and Rondo?
Salters asked Rondo something about how he was able to come back and fight through the pain, and Rondo - who's not exactly a rocket scientist - looks at her and goes "It's still broken ..." and then continues on like its no big deal. Salters didn't know how to respond - i'm guessing out of shock - because her follow up question was a couple stammered phrases.

My point is that I think the Lakers might win the series, I haven't seen anyone else give them a chance.
