Not surprising Bynum and Odom have gone out like this. Bynum has committed several dirty fouls in his career, which are praised by some Lakers fans for being good "hard" fouls and Odom's had his moments too. At least Kobe knows that when you lose by 30 in an elimination game, you take it.

    Paging Ron Artest...

And of the two, I mean Odom's wasn't that terrible - the fact it came in a 30-point game makes it seem even worse than it was. Bynum's was ludicrous.

It's been fun listening to them talking about how this is so unusual for a Phil Jackson team. Bullshit. He's always had an array of cheap shot artists (Rodman, Rick Fox, Bynum) behind the stars on his teams. He's never been afraid to loose the thugs when things aren't going his way.

I do want the Mavs to win it all now. But I could see all these jumpers falling short in one of the next two series. Well, especially if there's a defender within 4 feet.

The way the Lakers fold in elimination games should be a huge stain on PJ's over-hyped legacy. An all-time great coach wouldn't have this happen time and time again.

I love when the 290 lb Center decides to demonstrate his tough guy credentials by going after the 5'10" 160 lb guy. Shades of Ralph Sampson showing the first aggressiveness of his entire career by attacking Jerry Sichting. How come these tough guys never try to prove it against Charles Oakley?

TigerVols, 11 titles in a career is impossible to tarnish too much. Many people don't like Jackson. That's fine. But the record is the record.

Scoops Callahan just asked the last question at Phil Jackson's post-game press conference, and it might be the last question Phil ever fields as an NBA coach. I didn't catch it all, but there was something in there about Douglas Fairbanks and "the bee's knees."

    Phil's answer: "Amen."

True enough...and I should have typed "the" instead of "an" all-time great coach as I respect Phil a ton...but I don't think he's the greatest NBA coach of all time, and I don't think he's the greatest in the game at this time.

    Do these plays look familiar?

Someone is going to "accidentally" break Bynum's neck one day during a game. What a piece of shit punk thug.
