Enjoyed this very much. Simmons writing about Phil Jackson.

He'd mentioned having lunch with Phil awhile back so I figured there'd be a column whenever the Lakers' season ended. Was hoping it wouldn't run until mid-June.

    It's so long I won't finish it till mid-June.

No need to finish it. You can surmise pretty much its entire point from the identity of the posters recommending it and the viewpoint they've expressed here on Phil in the past. People always tend to "enjoy very much" columns that echo their own personal opinions.

I'm not a fan of Simmons and I'm also not all that interested in Jackson. I thoroughly enjoyed this column.

Would love to see the Bulls give the Heat a series, but can't see them matching up very well with Labron and Dwayne Wade.

Even though he'll never admit that the Celtics' 2007 moves provided a preliminary blueprint for what the Heat did last summer, Simmons' NBA stuff generally ranges from very solid to very good. He's very uneven on just about everything else now, but the NBA brings out his best efforts.

I wouldn't buy a Chevy on a bet, but that was a great ad.

My heart says Bulls. My mind says Heat. I'm going with heart; Bulls take this in seven.

Good omen when Dwayne Wade missed a wide-open layup in the first quarter.

Dwayne Wade just got a faceful of Carlos Boozer's sac.
