Unlimited range for LeBron? Really, Mike Breen?

Check the NBA running thread from around January. Kind of amusing to see the posts buring the Heat as not having a snowball's chance in Miami of beating the Celtics, Bulls, Lakers, etc. in the postseason.

Could the announcers please fellate LeBron a little more? Sure, they fellated him a lot, but was it really enough?

If the Mavs win the next game, they are going to be in great shape. This series is a long way from over, but the Heat took a nice step forward last night.

I expect it to go at least six, but if it doesn't, this discussion may never get off the 34th page.

Didn't watch. Won't watch. No way to ignore though. And it's over. Stick a fork in Dallas.

Officially, now, God has given up on the NBA.

So when does ESPN rerun "The Decision?" with an added 10 minutes of "F--- U" message, hosted by Jim Gray?

Yet you feel the need to come on this thread, interesting.

LeBron and Bosh got large deals and were part of sign and trades (so the Raptors and Cavs got something) but they were not max deals. They had to sign for less to allow for the Heat signing Haslem and Miller. Look it up.

Incredibly easy to ignore. I was in Washington last week. Never saw a game. If not for the curiosity of going online for 5 minutes the next day to see what happened, I would have had no idea. My wife couldn't pick LeBron James out of a police lineup.

Because in the history of sports, no player ever went somewhere else (either as a free agent or by forcing a trade) and won a title. God just decided to give up and let it happen this year.

I will not wish for a lockout if Miami wins the title... far too many people other than the actual players and owners would be affected by a work stoppage (hotels, restaurants, etc.), but I gotta believe there may be a lot of people who don't share my opinion if the Heat win.

One thing: If there is a lockout and a drastically different CBA is put in place, they may have to break up the team after one year. Either that or radically rewrite everyone's contract.

I am disappointed in the Mavs not sticking to the 1-3-1 zone (same one I taught my 9 yr olds this year!) they used in the 2nd qtr. and forcing Chalmers to beat them. Sure Chalmers hit a couple of open 3s, but isn't that a better bet than letting LeBron and Wade get going?

The Mavs are okay, they were the road team, lost by only 6 and Peja and Barea went a combined 1-11. That has got to improve in the long run.
