They 2-16 when playing this "player."

And 48-41 not playing this "player."

If I was a Dallas fan, this would make me puke.

In the Pacers v. Bulls series, I'm really amazed at how good the Pacers offense looks against the East's supposed best defense. The double off the ball screens curls is really leading to great shots almost every time. So much better to watch than 2 man iso sets.

That is a crazy statistic. For those who don't click the link, that's Dallas's record in playoff games officiated by Danny Crawford vs. those not officiated by him during the Cuban era.

Well, D. Crawford is a senior official, so he's more likely to be assigned to the important playoff games the Mavericks invariably have yakked up throughout the Cuban era.

So they're barely over .500 with other refs?

Dallas players and fans know that Cuban will pull the weakest cliche from the Fandork Handbook, and blame the refs. Built-in excuses, before the game even starts.

They aren't anything special when Crawford doesn't call their games. So when he does, they lose their heads; easy to do for Cuban's boys.

Hard to make an argument, tonight at least, that the Knicks would somehow be better off without Carmelo. No Billups, no Stoudemire in the second half, yet Knicks only trail by two with 9 minutes left. Carmelo with 37 and 17 boards. As Marv just said, looking a bit like Bernard King. He'll need to be Bernard-against-the-Pistons-in-Game-5-in-1984 to pull this one out with the lineup out there with him.

Hell of a game, five minutes left. Rondo's apparently out of the coma he's been in for two months, has 12 field goals, all in the paint. A Roger Mason sighting for the Knicks. Tie game, just under 6 to go. Carmelo with 39.

Normally I'd get tired of the shots of Spike Lee. But anything that keeps Ray Allen's mom off my screen is fine with me.

Carmelo with the three - after getting hacked by Pierce, no less - for his 42nd point. Knicks up 3, 2:36 to go.

Ladies and gentlemen, Jared Jeffries. Another crushing loss for the Knicks against the Celtics. It's only, what, the fourth one this year.

Um, Knicks, you might want to have something set up there for that last .6.

What a stupid play by NYK on that last inbounds by Boston.
