Zag, you're so xenophobic I'm going to start calling you Bill the Butcher (Gangs of New York reference).

J.J. was a damn Boy Scout in Puerto Rico. He played at tiny Northeastern in Boston and has managed to find a niche in the league as an undrafted free agent. If the dude was from Memphis, you'd talk about how he's overachieved. But because he's from (semi) foreign soil, you call him trash.

    That really is xenophobia.

As far as the conspiracy to advance Dirk, I doubt if there's anybody else on this board who thinks Dirk was getting away with anything beyond what NBA stars normally get away with, if he got away with anything at all.

And dude, loosen up on the foreign player thing. You just come across as shrill.

LeBron is proving himself to be one of the biggest bitches in the league with the insane flops when he isn't even touched.

Brian - How many "overachievers" and "happy story guys" have I touted, American or otherwise? That's your domain and I'm starting to think in your world the whiter the better, not mine.

I appreciate excellence, root for the stars to play well and don't particularly feel the need to root for the happy story guys
You can have Avery Johnson and JJ Barea - ill take Michael Jordan and Dwayne Wade

We're 1/3rd of the way into the fourth quarter, and James is still in single digits (though having a solid all-around game).

Mavericks come back from nine down in the fourth.

This is some terrible crap on the floor. Can anyone make a shot? Can anyone get back on defense and play defense?

Dwyane Wade is an absolute champion. His all around game has been far superior to James in the Finals. I think LeBron only cares about winning, and that is admirable - it's what we want all our fave athletes to be about - but this series is illustrating what everyone said when he joined Wade: that he'd be riding Wade's coattails if they win.

Jason Terry is just killing the Mavs in the fourth. Jesus.

Mike Breen needs to pull it in. That was some terrible basketball. What a series? Child, please. But glad to see it's America 2, Terrorists 2.

Wade gave them almost nothing during the conference finals. James was by far their best player in that series.

But this series? Sheesh. Eight points. Eight. 8. In an Finals game.
