If you want to speak of whimping lets talk of some of things that 60 Minutes has pulled over the past few years.

Can you provide a definition for "whimping"?

CBS pulls '60 Minutes' Iraq war report
Updated Sat. Sep. 25 2004 11:34 PM ET

    Associated Press

NEW YORK -- CBS News has shelved a 60 Minutes report on the rationale for war in Iraq because it would be "inappropriate'' to air it so close to the presidential election, the network said on Saturday.

The report on weapons of mass destruction was set to air on Sept. 8 but was put off in favour of a story on President George W. Bush's National Guard service. The Guard story was discredited because it relied on documents impugning Bush's service that were apparently fake.

CBS News spokeswoman Kelli Edwards would not elaborate on why the timing of the Iraq report was considered inappropriate.

The report, with Ed Bradley as the correspondent, has long been in the works. Originally scheduled for June, it was first put off because of new developments, Edwards said.

CBS said no other reports on the presidential election have been affected.

The network last week appointed former U.S. attorney general Dick Thornburgh and retired Associated Press chief executive Louis Boccardi to investigate what went wrong with the National Guard report and recommend changes.

The controversy has put CBS News officials squarely on the fire line, particularly anchor Dan Rather, who narrated the National Guard report.

Meanwhile, the network announced that Rather would anchor the network's coverage of all three presidential debates, starting Sept. 30

The point of the movie is how filled with simpletons this country is, and how a throwaway line could get some legs among the lobotomized, Idiot Swath that has voted for a Bush for President four times.

Now... it IS the Chicks' fault that so much of their radio play and sales is dependent on these morons.

    They made that bed.

The have just laid off 700 people, and they turned down the revenue for THAT ad?

I didn't see any criticism of Bush there.

Truly pathetic if, indeed, THAT is the ad that was scotched.

According to the results of the four elections of which you speak that, George Bush and George W. Bush comboined to received more than 200 million votes. Michael Dukakis, Bill Clinton, Al Gore and John Kerry combined to get around 196 million votes.

Don't you think you can frame your opinions in a more valid way than calling 200 million people "the lobotomized, Idiot Swat?" Or are you one of those liberals who thinks: "they don't agree with me, so they must be stupid?"

I saw no problem voting for Bush41 in 1988. Come on . . . Dukakis?

I also saw no problem voting for him in 1992 (heck, I was scared to death of Clinton).

I can even understand how some people could have voted for Bush43 in 2000.

But if you voted for him in 2004 . . . you are certifiably stupid.
