    That hurts man. :D

If I bought the advance anywhere time saver, I could do it from work but I did not.

Your commissioner regretfully did not get a chance to advance the league last night because when he got home, he laid down for a quick second and the next thing he knew it was several hours later and time to get up.

That will not be the case for tonight. Will advance when I get home (seriously).

  5. Beat #7 Washington 31-30 in Washington. Call it my revenge for the Oregon choke.

Threw for about 300 yards on 80% passing or so, but all four touchdowns came on the ground. Donta Abron once again ran for roughly 90-100 yards.

My pass defense was absolute ASS for the first half, but eventually I said "fuck it" and brought the house. QB threw the ball away a bunch in the second half. Came back from 20-7 down to win it and hit a game-ending FG from about 25 yards.

No recruiting haul for this week, but I'm feeling good and thinking next week could be the week the Buffaloes break the Top 25.

I pummeled ECU 63-21. Best offensive game by far. Unfortunately I lost my No. 1 WR to a ruptured disk and he's out for the season.

Also, ECU has a running back that looks like an offensive lineman but runs like Deion Sanders. They love utilizing screens with him. He had a big day against me but only because of one big run and a few medium range screens.

Is it #40? I'm using ECU in the Xbox dynasty and he's not only a change of pace back, for some inexplicable reason he's their No. 2 kickoff returner. I was going to move him for someone quicker, but the tubby son of a bitch brought it back 90 yards for a score in the second or third game of the season, so fuck it, let him stay there.

CPU has way more success with the screen than I do. I've used him and Cooper, the star back, on screens and they always lose five yards.

It's weird, but I think the CPUs semi-default defense in the game is to look for screens and options. I don't really run any gadget plays, which seems to work well if you have the personnel to do it. (I realize that at the level of teams we're playing as, some people have starters with ratings in the 60s.)

That's him. No. 40. Jimmy Booth or something like that. Not sure if their main RB was hurt or not because he got a lot of the touches in that offense.

No. 11 ULL 38, Troy 31. Surprisingly frisky effort from them, but our overall team ratings were only separated by a point. I was up for 14 most of the game, but they cut it to seven before I recovered an onside and iced the final 30 seconds.

Terrance Broadway was the MVP of the gaame, with 204 yards on 11-for-14 passing, and two touchdowns. Troy was pretty effective at killing my running game in the first half, until I finally went to some four and five WR sets, which got WR vs. LB match-ups. Broadway also had seven carries for 28 yards, although the actual yardage was probably around four carries for 45 yards, once you subtract the sacks.

Alonzo Harris had a superficially good game of 179 yards on 27 carries, with three touchdowns, but it was "three yards and a cloud of dust" for most of his carries. He finally broke free for a 43-yard run on a draw in the second half though, thanks to my effective first half passing. Effrem Reed subbed in for five carries and had 35 yards. Five different players caught passes for at least 16 yards apiece, although none of them went for more than 50 yards on the day.

Rooting for you to keep it going and hopefully grab a BCS title spot. I know you got two first-place votes in the media poll this week.
