A suggestion: whenever you get ready to do offseason stuff, see if you can all get together on one night for an hour or so and bang out all that stuff.

It's usually tough to do with everyone's schedules. If you aren't able to, it takes about a week to get through, and that's advancing once per day.

No. 4 UL Lafayette 42, UL Monroe 21. A bit of a dicey start to this one – I legit haven’t played in two or three weeks, since my last game was whenever our last online dynasty game was, minus a week, because I was on a bye. I was rusty reading the pass coverage and threw a pick on my first possession, which led to my team trailing 7-0.

However, I scored on the next possession, and thankfully my defense scored a touchdown, so it was quickly 14-7. From there, I never trailed again.

It was another stellar game for Alonzo Harris, who finished with 170 yards on 23 carries and four touchdowns. I got a bit gun-shy after that first interception, but because I had a WR recruit in, I needed to pass for 250 yards to get the recruiting bonus. I just barely got it, late in the fourth quarter, and Terrance Broadway finished with 271 yards on 20-for-25 passing.

    Thanks Hank.

  4. Boo. Also, I'll be continuing. Are we on to the new week yet.

Do we have any games left? I know I've played 12.

I meant after this week. Any regular-season games left?

  9. Will jump on it today at lunch. This weekend was weird — covering a juco game, then heading into the bigger college town to see friends/add some new beer glassware to the collection — but fun. Now, I'm back on the grind both in the office and in the dynasty!

  10. 41-38 win over Utah on the road. Shoot. OUT.

Was up 38-24 with 2-3 minutes left, when they went on scored on a big running play. I started pulling my defenders back, figuring "just get the onsides kick and ice it."

Oops. They get it AND score again. 38-38 with about a minute left, but I have all three timeouts and work my way down the field before a 43-yard game-winner.

Lost Connor Wood, who was 10-10 with 112 yds before getting hurt, for the rest of the game and had to play Jordan Webb since he was the best athletic fit in my offense. All he did was go 15-17 for 179 yards and a TD.

But the player of the game had to be Donta Abron. 19 carries, 121 yards, and 3 TDs. What Air Raid!? Anyways, end the regular season 10-2 with only one Pac loss, so I'll be facing Oregon, my only Pac-12 loss, in a rematch for a trip to the Rose Bowl.

    Shiiiiit.

You can do it. I shut out Oregon with Washington State in the Xbox dynasty. I think the final score was 10-0.

I'm only average on offense, but I play pretty good defense somehow.

  12. See, I'm Art Briles 2.0 — I'm studly on offense and can pick your weaknesses apart — but if I hold a team to under 30 it's a minor miracle. I started to catch on when it came to slowing Oregon down, but it was too little too late the first time.
