    BREAKING NEWS

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- The NCAA has announced plans to investigate Penn State running back Bill Belton on drug related charges.
Suspicions started to arise after the senior ran for 420 yards in the Nittany Lions' victory over Indiana last night.

"We acknowledge it was a pretty amazing accomplishment for Mr. Belton," NCAA spokesman I. P. Freely said. "But since he ended on the number of 420, it is our duty to investigate. We will use all of our resources to make sure this is legit."

The NCAA immediately announced plans to form a 100-person committee. In a related move, the collegiate organization said it would stop pursuing Nick Saban, Johnny Manziel and the University of Oregon for alleged recruiting violations.

"This is our main focus," Freely said. "I mean, come on. He purposely ended on 420 to send a message about marijuana use. If it's that obvious to us, it has to be even more obvious to the general public."

For those that don't know, the numbers 420 is widely used for marijuana-related occurrences. Cannibis organizations hold marijuana parties on April 20 each year to celebrate the drug.

NCAA officials hope to have some results from the investigation within a month.

Jake, is there any reason why you had four restarts against Kansas? Xbox issues?

Never even got to the coin toss ... I'm surprised it registered. I have no idea what's going on, my Xbox keeps saying the disc can't be read after I go through select teams. It does this with NCAA from time to time but never like this. It also did it once on Madden the other day, so I'm worried there's something wrong with the lens or something of the sort. I'm going to try again on a different Xbox when I can borrow one, likely early next week.

Crap, forgot I said I was going to do that. Was too tired again last night. Third time's the charm, I hope.

Not to worry, Meat. We still have Jake and myself to play yet.

Jake's been having disc issues. And I usually wait to play my game last so I can advance right after I play.

Success! After two more fails, I went to the Xbox website, and one of the possible fixes was unplugging all of the USB devices. That seemed to work. Let's hope that was a legit fix and I don't have to deal with this anymore. RTA
