I remember that final year of the 09 dynasty when I was scoring a trillion points, it was driven by INT returns and punt/kickoff returns. I've not been able to crack that code since.

Yup. Lots of TD drives that take less than 45 seconds.

Yeah, the games I'm getting crazy scores in, I have a lot of really long runs.. The other key is that the computer hs to be doing a lot of three-and-out.

And as if to prove my point further, I beat Marshall by the dizzying score of 14-7. And that was without committing a turnover. I couldn't move the ball or get protection consistently against a mediocre CUSA defense. My defense is good again, but that's probably because I switch to the nose tackle and just try not to fuck up the play for everyone else.

Being bad is bad enough, but regressing is infuriating. I was pretty good my first season, but at some point midway through season 2, I became impotent. I guess I'm winning, but seeing everyone else who started at the same time tee off on BCS foes while I'm dicking around with nailbiters against borderline FCS schools is discouraging. I've got to figure out what the fuck I'm doing wrong.

    FYI,
I'm going to be getting married on March 1 and have my honeymoon right after that. So from About 2/26-3/17 I'll be AWOL from this league. I have every intention of playing after I get back. I'm hoping that I can at least be back for offseason tasks for this season. I'll be bummed by the losses I have to take in the game - I doubt I'll beat Georgia in sim. But whatever.

So, moral of the story - I'll be gone for a bit but am not abandoning the league or my team.
