We're not waiting for any games in the regular season. Should the potential Rose Bowl matchup between me and Am hold true, we'll wait for him to get back since it would be a user bowl game.

For the start of season 4, we may wait for him to get back, depending on where we are and how close his return date is.

I believe he's recruited his brother to help on recruiting and any offseason tasks. His brother can do those through the EA web site.

As for this week, last I checked, it was me, Storm and Jake left to play. But that was a couple days ago.

I think my XBox is down for the count. It wouldn't connect to the EA servers just now. The NBA 2k servers worked fine, but when I went to play an online game, it wouldn't read my controller whether it was plugged in or not. It would pause telling me to reconnect the controller, I would unpause and it would immediately pause again. I probably did this 15 times before giving up and turning it off. I think I can get another XBox tomorrow night, so this hopefully won't result in too much of a delay on my end.

    Not a problem.

Since we have one player out for a bit and another one with Xbox issues, we might as well take it a little slower, as needed.

Beat OU 70-14. There shouldn't be any more technical issues on my end. Just Hank to play this week.

Just a heads up that I'm going to take a bit of a sabbatical from the league. After a second straight loss to Louisiana Tech, I really don't have any interest in playing them again in the CUSA title game or participating in another junior varsity bowl. I'll use time to try to get better in offseason dynasties in hopes that I can be more competitive next season, but with nothing to play for this year, no reason to be a hold up if I don't get my game in quickly. Not quitting the league, just letting the autopilot play out the string this year.

Don't give up. There have been times I've struggled at times too. I think that's a tribute to the AI from EA Sports, more than anything else.

Anyway, just a reminder that I'll be out of town from Tuesday to Friday afternoon. We should be able to advance at least once, maybe twice before then, so probably be at conference championships or beyond.

Oh, I'm not giving up. I just don't feel like losing to Lousiana Tech AGAIN, then having to sit through some shitty third-tier bowl. I'll be active again for the offseason tasks.

I beat OK St. 77-17. Eleven more TD passes for Boykin puts him at 92 through 11 games.
